Parents:why is my iPad so slow?

P:well just clean it up and make it go faster

M:Theres nothing to clean... Theres only a browser app and solitaire....

P: well just fix it so it's faster

M:....... *turns it off and on again*

M: All fixed

Got my new gear -- HP Omen 15 2020. Switched to windows after 6 years.
And boy, isn't WSL (Win subsystem for Linux) a GREAT thing.

FYI, I was previously using 1st gen Pentium with 3GB of RAM runnig Linux Mint. You can understand how I feel. 😀😀

I work 3 PM to 1 AM as a daily office job. Then go home and try to learn programming. Wake up next day at 8:30 AM for kind of another work until 1PM. Doesn't pay as much but I have to try. Then if I get free time do some freelance on UPWORK with whatever little graphic designing I know to help pay the bills.

And the fact that even my laptop is dying is a huge blow. Don't know when it might give up. Has 1st gen core i5 dual core, takes ages to load Adobe softwares. I have wanted to hulksmash this shit, but can't.

If I'm lucky, I get a stress free 6 hours of sleep a few days a month. And my depression doesn't help. More sleep should ease me a little, but I can't afford to waste any time. But this is life, isn't it.

Does anybody have an idea what cool things to do with an iPod Touch 1st gen?

Ok so I switched from iPhone SE (1st gen) to iPhone 12 mini.

And no crashes in devRant so far...
With the old phone, it was crashing sporadically when I was opening a rant.

Makes me wonder if that info could help fixing the crashes.

Guys, i've searched long and hard for a custom Kindle fire 1st Gen ROM... Digging through the internet to find this shit is hard. The dropbox links on XDA for OtterKat aren't working.

I managed to flash Cyanogen to my other kindle (Fire HD 7) - which my dad wants back, even though he dosent use it. I'm left with this first gen, and i've been at it all day

I wish there was an Apple Taptic Engine prostate massager. iPhone se 1st gen doesn’t have Taptic and my iPhone X just doesn’t fit. Taptic is so satisfying

nothing on XDA is actually there; all of the download links for kindle fire 1st gen lead to 404 pages. I'm actually getting very stressed over this. if i'm being stupid and missing a working link to a compatible ROM for KF1, PLEASE tell me
