I finally turned my MSI laptop into a fully functioning dev machine. I just activated Windows Linux Subsystem, and got XCFE4 to run, then installed some Jetbrain IDEs ontop of it. And I'm straight up in business. Now I don't need to go out and buy the new shitty Macbook pros for $3k11

Fuck JetBrain! So I'm sitting there, unhappy with Vim, wanting to write a simple timer program to execute scripts and alarms at a given time. Trying gedit and gvim, huh, lets give PyCharm a try! Well: PyCharm uses fucking Spaces by default and it automaticaly reformats my entire project from tabs to spaces. After that it fucked up a merge, and rendered everything useless, as python cant execute mixed intendation, and PyCharm wasnt working anymore because somehow important project files were corrupted through merge. Fuck this shit. Now im running Geany. It works.10

So we're approaching the end of WebStorm license subscription. Got notified about renewal. Then there's this question... Should we
1. not renew, use the fallback version (2018 something) because we don't need that many updates anyway and renew next year to get essentially a 50% off discount, or
2. renew and get the 20% off discount?
Asking for my boss lol3
