Long-time, no-rant.

I use Linux everywhere all the time. I'm not a huge gamer, but I like a few titles. Most run in Wine or can be made to run with effort in a VM. No biggie.

What I want to know from mobile/game devs is (sorry for ridiculously compound logic in non-lang):

School made me a stickler for the Linux kernel coding conventions in regards to the C language. And even though I shouldn't feel bothered by reading other coding styles.....i still get annoyed.

I try not to get irked cuz I find it a small thing to get annoyed at.... but i still do.....bad.

And even then i dislike how there is not padding inside of funcion parametes

Should be

void
fu( int here, int there ) {}

That space man...its needed.

Man this is such a small thing to be annoyed at..

This is like the 5th time I've fu**ed my Linux partition... God have mercy on me.

#TIL that you can navigate part of your Linux commands with CTRL like CTRL+A gets you to the beginning of the typed command, CTRL+D deletes the forward command and CTRL+E gets you to the end of the typed command.

NONE OF THIS WAS FOUND IN ANY LINUX-FU LESSONS! THESE WERE WAY EASIER TO USE THAN USING THE ARROW KEYS GODDAMMIT!

I've been trying to leave DoD for a couple of months now. Translating my 10 year's experience with complex Intelligence enterprise level systems to something relatable to the civilian IT world. Grabbed a few certs to help out A+, network+ and security+ with Linux+ as my next target. Photos of me working on unclassified systems, radios, cell towers and servers. I'm a teacher for military UAS so this shouldn't be to hard to get even a basic job in IT right.

No one will hire...

Many interviews and nothing
I'm broke and sold all of my personal valuables. I can't hold out much longer and really looking at becoming homeless. But I'm kinda ok with it, one last payment on my apartment and car is all I can do now. My parents think I'm in Afghanistan working a six figure job lol
