I hate it when I have to work with windows.

Saw a fellow developer at my company was having a rough day last week. Hes only been a developer with the company for about 3 months and came in green as grass. I asked him what was wrong and he said he cant get access to the file he needs because his ssh program (winSCP) is "broken" I look over at his computer and see his window was stranded between the two external monitor screens where the only clickable area is one small pixel line against the window. He unplugged the monitors and the window was still off the screen. Apparently, he had done this, and stopped attempting to use winscp and tried another program he didnt know and was resigned to leaving the window floating in no man's land instead of googling how to get the window back into the screen.

We need a better recruiter.

So I was just informed I have 40 tickets with my name on them. No big deal normally except that I had no idea and was scheduling based on the fact that I knew I had 25 on my plate and most of them were OBE. How did I find this out you ask? Well rather than updating the tickets in our ticket tracking system, my PM updated a spreadsheet that is out in no man's land. So it looks like I have been doing no work for the last 3 months when in reality I have been busting my ass to get shut done and fixed. Why even have a ticket tracking system?

I'm trying to install the environment of one of the currently gaming consoles...

I'm stuck in no-man's land because part of it depends on removed features of .Net from 2006-2008 that are not included right now...

So fuck this. I'll try again on the next one if uses more updated tools...
