I'm struggling at work. I hate senior mgmt at this company so much it's actually affecting my ability to produce work.

Fuckers high up have been delaying performance reviews for like a year, but they get their fucking bonuses with no delay. I can't afford not to have a job, so I'm trying to work, but it's hard. I try to keep things in perspective that they're still paying me so I should just do my job.. but how do you do it if you hate those cunts at the top so much. I became so toxic because of all the resentment too.

Company after years finally moves away from the ages old and buggy chat infrastructure to use HipChat, which gets adopted quickly and is loved by everyone...
Now Atlassian announces to discontinue HipChat. ;( *sadpanda*

At least we might be able to move to Slack now. :)

Starting a new job tomorrow. Haven't worked in more than 6 months, but did some leetcoding in the meantime. Problem is, I don't miss programming. I think I would just like a boring job for a bit, something not in the tech sector. Don't know why, I think I'm disillusioned with it. People with egos and lack of basic social skills/courtesy, bullshit work... I really hope this one's going to be better.

I'm trying to land a job that uses react on the front end, but I have no experience with it on the job. I have used it in spare time for other (unpublishable) projects.

Any ideas as to what could be good showcase projects that display my familiarity with React that do not require a year to finish?
