For some idiotic reason, I ran
UPDATE users
SET email="myname@mycompany.com"; in production.
No where clause. Oh drat.21 -
I accidentally deleted a folder containing contracts and files worth millions.
There's no backup. 😭😭😭. EaseUS didn't help with the entire recovery.

Just fixing a broken build due to another bad merge by SVN. There was no reason it should have fucked that merge up but somehow it did.
Of course I didn't double check by building locally so that was my screwup but what I wouldn't give to use a decent source control tool1 -
Hey all,
Need some ReactJS help:
So I was able to redo a browser extension project to fit my needs for my browser proxy project, however for some reason, the original source code doesn't seem to know the Setup class for the setup page. Webpack is not the issue but it seems it can't find the exported class, which makes the browser extension unusable. I hope you can help with my silly screwup.

I really lost all hope :<1 -
Well I did a stupid thing the other day. I was so pissed at myself. I had a form on my website for people to email me and it was working fine. I was tired of the form variables staying filled out so I decided to use some Javascript to clear the values when they click the button. I didn't think about the fact that the Javascript would fire before the backend code and so I was getting blank emails. I finally figured this out and instead just gave users a button to clear the form's input fields.4

Fuck you, linux modules!! I know tinkering with you was going to be dangerous, but I've already spent 4 hours just rebuilding virtual machines from every screwup.
I personally love the architecture of Linux, it tickles my fancy and it's super elegant... But fuck you!1
