When developing arm boards doing USB/HID stuff..
MAKE SURE YOUR USB CABLE IS NOT JUST FOR CHARGING
40+ hours of searching, debugging... and .. it was just.. cable.1 -
Now that I've spent a few ineffectual hours too many trying to get it working, I'm starting to think VS Code wasn't built for the purposes I wanted to use it for. I still can't get breakpoints working anywhere close to reliably. And I'd say breakpoints are pretty important.
On a related note, if anyone here has used VS Code together with arm-none-eabi-gdb, I'd love some pointers. I've yet to find any traces on the web of people doing that…rant frustration arm-none-eabi-gdb embedded development has anyone ever searched by tags? gdb stm32 vs code why am i still entering tags3 -

I gotta say I really love the beauty of being able to merge math, code, and hardware all in a well tuned symphony to make something awesome. Building an LQR controller for a custom quadrotor flight controller and it is just so much fun! -

It took me 4 hours for coding C note function in stm32 discovery board and playing it on speaker using a DAC

2days i was programming for lis3mdl sensor, i used different circuits different lines of codes but the problem was none of them...
Look at the pic, my colleges just didnt see the simple word bottom , the footprinted pins clockwise instead of counterclockwise:(( whole 2 days gone!! -
I don't even know that i should say it was a good problem or a bad one, i was programming a magnetometer sensor in both spi and i2c. I was tired of not working
I touched the sensor it dropped off!!! It was not soldered well!!!! At the problem was not from the code1 -
My area of focus is getting paid doing shitty PHP, JS, CSS tweaking freelance gigs and save enough money so I can finally focus on learning electronics and make stuff with arduino, stm32 etc. Hardware interfacing is so interesting.
