Had the best day at work today.
This summer I got to do a little work at the company my dad works. (typically cleaning and updating some machines. Stuff that the others don't have time for. Pretty boring)

Suddenly I get asked
"Have you ever developed for windows?"
I have only worked with Linux or Mac/ios (python and swift) so I told him I hadn't , but I could try.

Next thing I am making a system check program in c# (had to learn it on the fly) and I get paid to do it! I GOT FUCKING PAID TO PROGRAM! I don't have any education or whatsoever (only 17years old) but I got paid to do what I love😍😍😍

I am so excited to go to work tomorrow!

him: get dressed, is not summer anymore
her: I'm cleaning and I'm hot...if you wish you can undress and go to the other room, where is the vacuum cleaner

My geekiest non-dev activity?

Recently its been playing Star Wars Battlefront (on PC). Its been a good SharePoint stress reliever, but hardly anyone playing anymore.

Will be getting back into 'video production' this summer converting decades worth of VHS tapes to digital for various family member's (lots & lots of editing and cleaning up).
