As useful as it can be, I despise auto-typecasting.

Some compilers give an error message on forgotten type casting. From that it shows good typing style casting. So you also avoid clerical errors that can lead to the program crash in the worst case. An example of such an error would be:

By default, one tries to access the second element of the requested memory. However, this is not possible, since pointer calculation (+,-) does not work for a void pointer.
The improved example would be:
int * ptr = ((int *) malloc (10*sizeof (int)))+1;

Here, typecasting is done beforehand and this turns the void pointer into its int pointer and pointer calculation can be applied. Note: If instead of error "no output" is displayed on the sololearn C compiler try another compiler.

Somehow I made that work at the first attempt without checking anything before. Still can't believe it.
To be fair: I forgot typecasting once in the 19 lines before that.

I started my coding journey with JAVA ! I l grasped the basic concepts like LOOPS TYPECASTING ARRAYS etc. pretty well but failed to cope up with stacks , queues . So I switched to python and completed the Python Bootcamp from Udemy and now I am pretty confident in python . So should I try to learn Java again ?

When people say they wish a language was more strict. I'm a fan of the loose lol.

PHP. Anything goes. Hello, this is my kind of world. Never had an issue with types but I write my code to handle values properly.

And I know people will have opposing views. However I will say that you can still achieve the strictness in PHP by putting in your own checks. Create a few custom functions to do your validations and you are good to go :)
