This business philosophy is relevant no matter which industry, culture or century you're in. In software development a user- or customer-centered design approach is particularly important👌

Some clients take this too literally, but in general I would agree! ☺️

Currently getting into Machine Learning and working on a joke-project to identify the main programming language of GitHub repositories based on commit messages. For half of the commits, the language is predicted correctly out of 53 possible languages. Which is not too bad given the fact that I have no clue what I'm doing...9

Spent my sunday coding AMZ Hot Searches, a visualizer for trending Amazon search queries, inspired by Google Hot Searches. Will host it on a server soon. Feels good :)1

PM: create a ticket
Support: Not sure, just try again
Me: Still won't work
Support: We forgot to set some attributes in your account, should work now.
Me: Nope.
Support: We are investigating.

Just reviewed collegues code: 80 lines of if statements that are so long that I have to scroll sideways on my 27" screen. Just wrote the exact same thing in 5 minutes and 10 lines! If you don't know how to use loops in your code please learn something different and stop pissing off skilled devs 😡5

First internship during college, developed an app for a month, company sold it for $30k, customer extremely excited about it. Best feeling ever 🤗 - wk657

I have so many Android App ideas but am afraid to develop them from the fear that no one will find them because I don't know anything about app marketing. Anyone been at a similar point and has some tips where to start?3

When you've been looking forward to a lecture on security only to find out you have to hack their website in order to register and you're completely lost 😫5

Wondering whether there will ever be a day where I will not have to google for "how to auto format code in [some IDE]" 😌3
