Not a fan of conspiracy theories by any means, but what if they do this also to force people to change their smartphones every couple of years? Might not be the sole reason to do so, afterall you can pay the service to replace even the built in batteries, but think about it. Most people I know would just get a new phone (most of the times, the +1 version of their current model).

The thinkpad T430 for personal usa and rocking a dell latitude at work. Besides the overheating of the dell I dont have much to complain about it, but I'd always take a thinkpad over it.

Besides that, my 8700k based desktop whenever I'm coding @ home.

Usually my mind gets exhausted long before my fingers but it depends on what kind of coding you do, I would imagine that doing frontend for example requires more lines of code than doing backend logic.
