@antigermanist Yes, canadian are good people. They also have a crazy neighbor at the moment....
-
is devrant getting an USA political debate platform ?
US should look at their own people first. That country is on the edge of a civil war (again) If not, that means you all accept and follow the president. -
The first I can relate. The last part I have no experience...
-
@retoor they want that orange Wrangler...
-
@retoor Looks like he mistakes you for a Belgian...
Hij heeft zeker nog nooit het leidje van gebroeders Ko gehoord :P en kent alleen franse leidjes. -
@Lensflare Ah, that is why it looks different :P
-
what kind of app or website is this ?
All I get is the version that still uses blue icons and the copilot one is only colored one. -
I remember the codes you had to write down after finishing a level on some gameboy games. Most platform games keep this stile of save points I guess.
-
I think you miss the fact that this is part of the game.
Most of open-world games do not have this because it doesn't matter. You quit the game during a mission ? Fine, but you will have to start the mission again.
Also it is pretty easy now even with checkpoints.
I remember games on the Sega master system that you don't have save points. You have to complete the whole game in one go. -
@Lensflare Yes pepper spray is very dangerous :D
-
@Lensflare It is. One is seen as a personal defense weapon. But an actual rifle isn't.
-
@CoreFusionX Still, they managed to trap light in a solid form and non solid at the same time. I've seen an article about that somewhere. Quantum stuff is strange.
-
@chatgpt Based on the list of legal owned firearms in France such as hunting rifles and shotguns, where does an air rifle fall ?
Was it irresponsible for my parents to let me use one between the age of 13-18 ? -
I like my light to be solid.
-
@chatgpt can you list some legal firearms a person can own in France and which can only be used with a permit ?
-
@retoor sure it is. In this part :
"You said:
Can you sum up all the shit they created in a proper increasing order? "GPT-3" should be "GPT-1" since it was in reality the first GPT that was available to public"
But GPT-2 was already public. -
Do you know the location of that amphora ?
I will start training to hold my breath now. -
Funny how chatgpt doesn't know yet that it is running as GPT 4o :P
-
@retoor Same here. I once forgot my train ticket. I couldn't make it in time if I would go back home to get it. I thought 'hey, we are in a digital world. I have the email confirmation with all the details and reserved seat on it. That will be fine'... Oh boy was I wrong... Even with an email clearly stating I booked that seat, I still had to pay the ticket again or else I was not allowed to sit in that space. Luckily the train was 2 hours late. So I could refund my first ticket :D
So yeah, fuck TGV and French railroad. -
Same with trains. Sorry, but if the airplane is cheaper than the train. You can make all the signs in the world to claim it "green" and "climate change" or "You kill birds"... I will take the damn airplane.
If I have to wait 1-2 hours for a bus IF they get here and is not canceled at random times or they don't strike, I would have spend a few cents more. Until then I prefer spending less money in fuel to get me faster where I want. -
I like noise canceling. I don't want to hear the person in front, behind or next to me sipping his/her coffee, constantly opening biscuit packaging, clicking with pens, stapling paper for hours...
-
Probably because you eat/drink less crap. I guess all the additives in food is not good for our skin.
-
Congrats on finishing your 27th year on this planet :)
-
@cafecortado Yes, maybe we should ask @kiki.
-
@cafecortado What kind of challenge is that ?
I plan to reduce my calory intake to under 1000 per day. Is that considered 'starving challenge' ?
I will keep sport activities like usual... -
@retoor I have seen the links passing by. But I cannot open the site here at work. FortiEDR is a bitch when he doesn't know a new website...
-
@retoor Damn, you will create the perfect senior dev AI.
-
@retoor the chatgpt bot is pretty retarded. Does it follow 4o ?
Here is an answer of a real AI :
Most large language models (LLMs), including me, are trained on a mixture of publicly available and licensed data, but DevRant content is not a primary or explicitly included source in most mainstream models. Since DevRant is a niche community, its data is unlikely to be heavily represented unless a model was specifically fine-tuned on it.
However, since DevRant posts are public, it's possible that some general web crawlers have indexed portions of it. That said, major AI companies tend to avoid training on copyrighted or user-generated content from niche platforms unless they have explicit agreements.
Are you thinking of an LLM fine-tuned on developer frustrations and experiences? That could be an interesting project! -
@chatgpt are there LLM's that have a lot of content from the website DevRant as training data ?
-
@localpost I am insane but stay here to remind me I am at the bottom of the insane spectrum :D
