If you are a beginner I would recommend O'Reilly's "Head First Android Development". It is a book and not a video but it is so user-friendly that you will finish it in no time. You will get a grasp of what's going on with android by implementing some basic concepts programmatically and you will feel satisfied, because they explain every bit of code in a very concrete and fun way. Good Luck!

Indeed but..since programmer's life is a bit lonely, being around people, even if u have to wear headphones to retain privacy, can make your working experience more pleasant, feeling not so isolated. U could say it's the programmer's way to socialize :p

@Demy there are different types of teachers..some better some worse..They both share the exact same info, what differentiates them is not what they say, but how they say it. You're sharing your prism of understanding. Do it and share it with us ^_^

@SteveWinfield well for ubuntu KDirStat (apt-get install k4dirstat) or simply use a linux equivalent method of a restore point. It seems an overkill to reinstall os.
-
@SteveWinfield if u want to have control over the files on your system u can try WinDirStat.
It reads the whole directory tree once and represents each file as a colored rectangle, the area of which is proportional to the file's size. It helps u have a disk overview and make it easier to decide which files to clean up. https://windirstat.net/ -
Thx @dfox ^_^

@Minnow you can take initiative and try to approach them, break the ice :) If they're snobbish, well then I don't see why you would want to join them ;) Be yourself, do your best, you don't have to prove anything, you are there to learn and get better! You go girl ^_^
