Stop writing motherfucking state management libraries every week that are supposed to "take the pain out" of redux. Fuck this. If you find redux hard, I don't think we should work together. Shit, there are so many difficult concepts regarding web development, but redux? Redux is hard? Fuck you, stupid bitch!

So i've spent the day:

a) Finding evidence (again) of product not doing their job, to send on to one of my managers. So we can again discuss why she's still here.

b) Explaining to my iOS developer that although all the devs are in agreement that 2 of them are not pulling their weight and shouldn't be here ... they will definitely still be here because management actually want to keep our multi-timezone setup as they see it as beneficial. We, do not.

c) Having a meeting with another manager, in a different department. (Backstory, a member of their team has had many complaints filed against them by various members of the building, including one from my team). To let them know that my employee felt like you ignored her concerns and complaints and are going to allow this person pass their probation without considering the implications.

I hope to actually find some time in the reminder of the day to actually achieve something, rather than just telling skidmarks that they are in fact skidmarks.

... but probably won't due to 3 hours of pointless back to back meetings, where we answer the same few questions every week.

I really do love being a tech lead. So refreshing.

So here is an interesting story.

The company that I work went in collaboration with another company and as my company is a small startup we had only 2 employees. We had to do 2 different projects during the collaboration period.

I was put in-charge of an android application (At that time I had no experience of android development and it was one of their most important project without any guidance)

I was doing work of two companies and getting paid by one and I was getting shit from the company that we were collaborating with.

As a developer I value tasks and deadline but the company issued a new rule that I should stay in the office from 9-6 (strictly) which I didn't oppose. But the senior developers here stay strictly 9-6 but work only for about less 2 hours a day and get valued more.

I used to love working on weekends improving myself in the process but working over time is not valued by the company.

( BTW I completed their project in about 1.5 months )

So I heard about this new Git ransomware that is demanding Bitcoin if not fulfilled removing commits and projects...

And then I thought to myself...

What will they get my deleting all my repos of projects that I told myself that I will finish one day.

I guess they will be doing me a favor. Doing something that I have been putting off for ages.

I dislike the way Oracle deals with Java(for the most part) and believe it to be a really power hungry company full of assholes.

I do; however, know that business is business, i get it. I really do.

To bad they own one of my main languages but at the same time thank heavens for the OpenJDK
