Well i am on the fence with applying for a new job, currently management sucks and giving me additional load and complaining about orders that i took from them, any advice or stories about your management experience.
-
Been wanting to switch to a laravel job but i only have 1 year experience and i need to catch up with the latest laravel updates, will this be a deal breaker when applying for a laravel job?3
-
Apparently management can't keep track of the conflicting revisions and task they keep assigning to their devs.
-
Documentation for all our projects within a few hours is really impossible, thank you project manager.3
-
Any suggestions or advice for me, i want to have a laravel or angular based work, but dont have experience on angular but i have some experience with laravel, any suggestions or advice regarding my concern.10

Job descriptions are only accurate for about a few months after that its the wild west whatever they want you to do.5
-
I always find it frustrating that additional requirements and changes are added and the deadline is not extended2
-
Just recently used docker, for some reason i keep getting so many errors, fix one error then another, then another one anxiety is killing me.

Want to ask on how you guys overcame your burnout from coding, i think its been so long since i really got into coding like i used to before.13

One of my problems as a dev are the numerous conflicting comments made by managers, and qa, they both want different things. On a similar project.........7

Need advice.
I applied to a company and i am still waiting for the reply via email, the last email they sent was monday, should i wait or just find another job opportunity, the interview went well but i dont know if they will reply or not.4 -
After realizing that I am burnout from working, I soon realize that you should not go above and beyond when working, they will always expect you to work like that and be disappointed if you did a minor mistake.3
-
Should I wait for my promotion or change jobs now, I can't guarantee what my manager says he is too much by the books type of manager that follows the rules without consideration.3
-
Manager: we have reached record sales this month, thank you for your hard work guys.
Employee: can I get a raise?
Manager: your greed is hurting the company.
Employee: but I worked here for 3 years8 -
Finally finished that project causing me so much head ache. manager has been asking me too much for the pass 2 weeks, now I am free from that project.3
-
I don't understand why managers are not held responsible for the under estimated timeline of the project, the developer will suffer from the overtime and crunch of coding.3
-
Should I take in a opportunity to work for a contact job for a year? There's a possibility of absorption but ever since rona hit we all need a stable job.5
-
Don't burn out your self guys, if your burnout take a leave if possible if it's too stressful consider a job switch, money is great but life should also be enjoyed, you can't enjoy your money when your old and having medical problems.
