Time travel in the sense of finding electronics that are older than me and having absoluetly no track of time.

You apparantly like to be pegged. Fingering around in your asshole.
-
Thi kinda reminds me of this quote: "How do you kill someone that does not exist? Any way you would like." - We're on hell, Area 51 and the Geography of a secret.
-
It sure is not as shrimple as on Windows but man has it made big strides due to Valve using Linux on the Steamdeck. I mean I can get any singleplayer and most multiplayer games to run with good performance. Some examples:
- CP2077
- Fallout 4 & London
- Oxygen Not Included
- Overwatch 1 (While it still was a thing)
- Insanely modded Minecraft
- Disco Elysium
- Spiritfarer
Althou writing this list makes me kinda feel like I'm old, because I barely catch up with games newer than 2020... -
So its either an actual medical problem or one that capitalism created

I feel like the process got a lot more robust lately. I was easily able to update it on my Thinkpad from Windows. No need to download a specific file to a usb drive.
Also did A LOT of firmware updates on industrial automation gear. Never had an issue. Except programming X20CP0482 those things are a nightmare that you have to download the software with a piledriver! -
What saved me like 1k in taxes a year was cancelling my church subscription. I dont know why church taxes here are so goddamn high!
-
@kiki Dont ask me about guns. I genuinly dont know more that what is the "standard" around here.

@cprn HDMI, unlike DP, needs to be licensed in order to be able to use any of the HDMI name or logo. According to the HDMI website its 5k$ a year + 1$ per device sold or 10k$ a year. All of this is also kinda murky defined and there seems to be somewhat conflicting information in the internet. So its pretty much necessary to run it through a lawyer wo will very likely be paid a fortune and take forever to give you a concrete answer as to where you need to spend even more money on licenses. Just to not be sued in the long run.

@MammaNeedHummus This is a story all about how: HDMI licensing requirements in the embedded world.

So basically the one on Zürich 🤔

Also my fav. type of electrical noise has to be either a star-delta starter or a massive contactor shaking the entire cabinet its installed in.
-
Are we talking 50hz or 60hz flavour?
-
@iiii I know, but i have a husband.

@iiii Nah, I rarely need to work with those types of lifts. Too little horizontal movement. I use more the crane type.
-
@antigermgerm At most 25Kg. I currently dont hit the gym at all.
-
@iiii @retoor @D-4got10-01 Its a remix of the forklift certified meme. I am now officially certified for scissor lifts and all other things that lift you to high places.

Apparantly images are broken again 🥺

But is still culturally represented cutely and UWU!
Which reminds me of: -
@iiii I dont plan on using a desktop environment anyways, so the biggest cockblock is the rust compiler because optee. (See previous yocto rant for context)
I can see why chromium is a pain, but i have to ever actually compile it. Did it with firefox once and had kinda decent times like 8years ago. -
@Lensflare The pun is intended by its developpers!
