If you’re in IT and expect things to just work for you, then you’re going to have a bad time.

When you rant about some OS, distro, plug-in, framework etc not working for you, you’re basically just bitching about a problem you’ve not been able to solve.

This is the life you’ve chosen. Stop crying and find the solution.

Client :- The app is slow on my device, please fix.
Developer :- Working fine on all the devices I tested, are you sure?
Client :- Yes, it's very slow. I can't accept this app.
Developer :- (Recompiles the same codebase again) Here, try this, optimized a lot of calls, took me entire day to do so.
Client :- Yes, it is working fast now
Developer :- (evil laughs)

Working in a startup company acquired by some €^%€*^^ from singapore, second month no sallary(the first Local CEO) paid us.. now nothing...
I went to new interviews today.. HR and later 2 hours C# Coding test... definitely I was fucking good in the test, they called me hours later with positive feedback and new interview tomorrow , and they want me to team lead now 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 positive vibrations guys🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Database is being slow AF again. Team lead is investigating. This is happening more often lately and affects both production and dev because everything is just in one gigantic database. So clients are calling support being angry about the speed they get and us devs get to twiddle our thumbs while waiting for our own data to load.
