@hexc I haven't used electron either, yet I'm planning on trying it. As far as I know it's considered slow compared to native builds, mainly because every electron app pretty much has to run on top of a chromium instance. Somebody correct me if I have my facts wrong

Ruby on Rails is also a fun and easy platform to build web apps. I also use php and gave ruby a try a while back. Been a fun experience. If you're looking to try new things give ruby a go -
I use mainly Windows for work and Linux at home for freelance/personal projects. Windows can do pretty much everything Linux does ( for my work) but definetly harder and slower. While Linux has all I need out of the box, Windows needs a lot of work to get it to do the same thing

@coookie
I agree. I heard some people say that if you know c/c++ learning any other language is a breeze. -
Yes, indeed... I feel you

Mcdonalds is always hiring. I keep asking that many times per month too. You.re safe

Is it any good? Heard about it recently. I enjoyed the names of their products

I read a while back about something called GPU passthrough. Haven.t tried it yet, due to time limitations, but it seems goos. Basically it's a VM with full processing power, which means you can have a win7 VM inside Linux without sacrificing hardware power. Check it out

Been second for most of my life, until recently when I switched because the desk is weird and has no space for the box. I kinda like it though, but it does kill a lot of space
