Been working for a client in different time zone. We are an offshore team of 18 ppl. Now we have 2 an hour long meetings daily, one is our internal and the other is with the client.
Today I mentioned that we are consuming 36 man hours daily just in the meetings and they were like, nah man, we are good. 🙄🙄

I just joined a team of a product where a user can have multiple roles. While getting familiar with the flow, I noticed that the previous developer, instead of creating a many-to-many relation of users and roles, adds the 6 records of the same user with the same email each with the different role id.

I just got a project that is already developed by a team. It is already in the production and guess what!! They are storing customer’s credit card details in the database 🥸🥸

A company here fired 17 ppl on 1 day notice. A friend was also one of the affectees. He told me and I raised out the issue on Facebook and Linkedin and got quite a response from the community.
Sad part is, my current employer fired me for defamation and false claims.

I was conducting interviews today. There was a candidate who impressed me a lot and i was about to hire him but one question turned the interview into a hilarious situation.
Me: what are delegate events?
Candidate: events that are fired even if you click on the side of the button

He: maybe they are new in market, never heard of them
