Gotta teach them somehow

    That's pretty much exactly how they respond to the green dot as well.

    I blame you for the green dots today!

    I like dots.

    Is that also the appearance of the average devRanter? The most Bob Dylan hair you have ever seen, surprisingly red lips, traces of stubble and matchstick forearms. His expression is also the most "unsure angry" I have seen in a while.

    I see people bypassing my joke filter by tagging their posts with "joke/meme"

    I just want a damn avatar. Getting rep on Stackoverflow was easier than this

    @adamelso Take that back
    Here you just have to post relevant (or at least funny) posts where there, unless your have a question no one posted yet (but not too fancy, otherwise it will never get noticed), wasted your time on edits or cocksucked a mod, you're not going to see your precious rep. anytime soon.

    @CodeTalker I don’t care about rep on this platform. At least on StackOverflow, rep has benefits for my resumé.

    I find it strange that I can’t at least set an avatar to begin with, meanwhile anything I post will be overlooked as “another green dot posting”; this rant and your warm welcome confirms that.

    @adamelso I found it strange too to be honest. But the "green dot" stuff is not that bad. I'm fairly new as well and see, I got updoots. It's all about what you're posting, not how long you joined and what shows it.
    Welcome to devRant (≠StackOverflow)
