guys, one thing: the 10 per hour is not what is offered for this project, it's what the client had paid on average for all the projects he's given to people.

meaning yeah, that's low, but it's ultimately what the contractors doing the job agreed on.

i've seen much worse, like "make me a unity3d racing game with voice chat, fixed price for the project 150€"

and they can do that because these sites are overflown by indians who can't code properly, can't speak english properly, but 150 bucks is above average salary for 2 or 3 months in india.

also i bet they have jack shit. one time when i "got" a job which was "implement infinite level scrolling for my infinite runner game", where the description was "the game is all done, i just don't know how to implement the tech for infinite level, so that'll be your task", what i got as a source for the "finished game" was a single scene with no art assets, buggy movement, and about 30unit length of track set up. no menu, no sounds, no nothing, literally just that, and yeah, the guy was expecting me to make it into actual full game with menu, sounds, ads integration, etc etc.

so i told him to go fuck himself.

but yeah, "clients" on these sites like to trap you by understating the scope of the work, and then right after you accept, they neatly list everything that they actually want, assuming they can since you already accepted, and you will not back out because of fear that it's gonna reflect badly on your profile.
