Drunk, a man buys a company more than what it's worth, fires a half of the employees and orders the rest to destroy the product

This screenshot doesn’t show that "whole ass thread explaining how to fix it".

It also doesn’t show who wrote that he is fired and if it is actually true and if the reason was this article.

All I see is a part of a polite conversation.

@b2plane I don’t care enough. I find this shitstorm hate train completely ridiculous.
  • 4
I mean, trying to "gotcha" your boss is kinda retarded. What did he expect

    ref: https://twitter.com/EricFrohnhoefer...

    cannot find Musk's comments

to be fair, *everything* is slow on android. Everything is slow on everything... infact, everything is just slow lately! what have we done?!

I just can't find the "fired" comment.

The pic is compromised anywhere. Look at the timeline break just above the last Elon Musk avatar. It was photoshoped at least once, which automatically makes it untrustworthy as a whole.

I think the guy is still working there and that was an honest, but butt-hurt opinion of his. If anything, I feel like Musk might actually respect a guy like that, but eh, who cares

also apparently the Twitter servers are shit. which is not surprising but good to know

According to an update, he was actually fired.

@Hazarth everything is slow, but the solution is obvious; just add more javascript
  • 3
Or, he got fired for publicly calling out the boss. Never a good idea. Duh.
  • 2
@Hazarth to compensate for the slowness, layoffs are fast fast

    @JD-DoubleWide

So? Big Baby should be able to argue. It is a public square you know,.

Your last rant about Elon Musk was proven to be actual fake news. So i just assume you being malicious again. Haters gonna hate it seems.
  • 3
@JD-DoubleWide if big boss can publicly bad mouth his engineers, they should be able to publicly respond. Especially considering he's just put half of them out of a job.

@atheist I cannot imagine ever contradicting my boss is a public forum. In fact, it would be hazardous to ever interact with my boss in a public forum. Not sure how this happens at twitter. Seems unprofessional on all sides to air your laundry to the public.

@atheist they can! And they do. That's what free speech is all about!

I mean, it will have consequences, possibly getting fired. Especially since almost every job contract says to behave in such a way as to not hurt the Image if the company. But that's part of being able to speak freely. You shouldn't be silenced, or censored and your freedom shouldn't be restricted in any way for it. But you should be ready to get slapped across the face for it.

Alas, it is a bad decision to do this, but the engineer can just find a new job now. There shouldn't be any long term consequences. Hell, he might even try to get employed at twitter again, nobody will remember his damn name in a week xD

    Still, It's probs fake

@Demolishun I agree. But if someone disparages me, I'm going to defend myself. If I'm getting my work trashed publicly, then it's also probably not a job I want either.

@Hazarth is it a bad decision? There were several engineers that popped up in my timeline voicing a different opinion to what Elon was saying.

And, yes I'd be cool with being fired for publicly defending my work. I'm good at my job. Twitter used to be a respected company, now?
  • 3
@atheist Twitter used to be a respected company? By whom? When? I don't think so

That guy didn't mention anything on how to fix the bad design of the backend. Hes a fluffing android dev! I'm tired of people that have no clue speak about this nonsense

Both sides are just lacking professionalism tbh. If you know someone in your company has made false PR just DM them. And if someone in your company is doing something stupid that they’re gonna get fired for, keep it private 🙄
  • 3
lol at the servile "I would never publicly contradict my boss" like you're a medieval serf making sure not to look Lord Assford of Cumshire in the eye or he will flog you. Maybe you should think about joining a trade union.

@msdsk Complaining about bosses on social media... Why do other employers not want to hire me after looking at my social media?
  • 1
@msdsk that’s not the point, it just makes the company as a whole look bad really. If you don’t care about that then idk maybe you just don’t care about the work you do as a whole, that’s valid too… I think

Also in this particular case the guy was just trying to one up their boss so kinda cringe regardless

    @atheist what an asshole
Wonder if we've reached the age where neural nets conquer us bases on his younger predictions
  • 0
@JD-DoubleWide Technically looks like he bitched about a shit product

I think someone should tweet "hired" from IBM lol
  • 0
@Earu the company already looked bad and musk is a continuous laughing stock

Come on it's Twitter land of the whore from 20 years ago and Al Qaeda
  • 0
So I obviously wasn't paying attention when this was actually relevant

Musk drove Twitter into the ground I'm guessing ?
More a history lesson at this point

Anyone care to illuminate what said jackass accomplished with his idiotic management style ?

Mass resignation was being considered apparently
  • 3
@darkwind Wow, that employee has gone from "no, you are wrong" to "you are actually right, but i am not at fault because..." quickly.

@Earu the guy making the company look bad is the heir of apartheid emerald mine, not a random engineer.
