Voxera113887yBasic on a vic-20 (predecessor to the commodore 64)
Then a long list ;)
I actually started on a sinclair zx-80 (with 512 bytes! of ram) but I cannot claim that I learned basic on it ;) -

2erXre524957ylearned in terms of mastering it, then Java and whitespace (seriously, I wrote even an Interpreter and parser for it and implemented a memory manager in whitespace)
in terms of used it for more than a hello world, then DOS batch, Perl, VB and VBA and ASP (before the .Net era), after that ASM, C, PHP, js, python, brainfuck, bash and some rudimentary ruby -
BASIC (C64), followed by mIRC script (does that count? lol), followed by VB5/6, followed by C#/PHP/JS

@Voxera @codeman @jesse-bryant
Makes me happy that there are people here who know the joys of programming using bulky keyboard computers, gotos, sprites, tiny memory chips, and noisy floppy/tape storage. It was horrificly charming. -
Lua using Love2D framework.
BYOND script too.
Im surprised!
Very suprised!
I expected atleast one other mention of lua. -
C++. At the age of 11. Worst mistake of my life. Or best. I'm not sure to be honest.

Voxera113887y@bittersweet Sure :)
My first Pc I actually had to upgrade from 512 kbyte to 640 kbyte using a bag of chips, the classic black one with legs ;)
But I cannot say it was better :P -
monnef3137ySome variant of Basic on ancient "cassette" PC. It was fun messing with source files of games 😁.

C++ followed by "oh my" followed by "wth" followed by "all that to reverse a string?" Followed by Java followed by chooseother.language (System.Language).select.other (-1) followed by Js and then Python.
