today at programming class...

professor: today we will be teaching you about vim and using the terminal and ssh. those who are smart enough to know these may leave the class, but be sure to sign the attendance sheet.

me: *starts packing and stands up and walks up to the front to sign*
me: *turns around*

EVERYBODY WAS LOOKING AT ME. i was the one only who stood up and the professor was also looking at me like "wtf this doesnt happen everyday". and so i walked out of there and im so proud of myself lmfao

    @nickj oh alright, then you totally don't need these classes. But I would say you always can learn a new trick to do something more efficent in vim. But I doubt a professor will provide these...

    Omg. I came here reading about vim and ended up somewhere else.
    Regarding vim, I don't use it much. Such keep basic commands in hand, so that I don't end up using vim for years because I couldn't quit.
    Regarding the comments by that weirdo, it's really annoying when someone tries to cross way ahead of being funny and sarcastic to being a complete asshole. And bringing down the quality of this community.
    I hope we all downvote such users and make DevRant a beautiful community as it's now.
