That's exactly how I felt when I was working on my project. I missed a lot of assignments and didn't do well on exams. But the project was great and I learned more than ever. It gave me so much confidence on job interviews and helped me get a good job. I got B, but I learned more from my personal projects.

Geography is ultimately useless. Just teach someone how to read a map. School wastes so much time on rote memorization and way too specific questions about history. Like why is it important to know the exact percentage of people who voted in 1965? What does that prove other than “I stored useless knowledge in my brain so I can regurgitate it.”

kai187717yTrust me! That shit is is important. It's like a necessary evil on your path to glorious programming success. 7 years ago I was in the same situation, and I deeply regret the decisions I made(namely ignoring school). Those grades are what's standing between you and your path to glorious programming career success. Unless you are somebody extremely exceptional chances are, people will catch up with you in college, and by the time you are looking for a job, some of those will have an edge over because of theor grades and the better universities they graduated from. Trust me buddy, grades and school are as much important to your programming as programming itself.

That's the problem, school won't teach us the subject we wanna learn....they will teach us all the subjects cause they think we all have to become an all-rounder
