Got my new (second hand) game pad to run on Linux in just one minute!

I've never been a fan of "wireless" technologies.

Whether it's a keyboard, mouse, gamepad. Nope none of it. The latency, need to change batteries (if any), chances of putting the accessories in places other than your gaming desk thus creating clutter around your house.

And earphones, HOLY CRAP. You cannot convince me that any sort of Bluetooth earphones have better sound quality than my wired 3.5mm Sennheiser earphones.

I'd rather take wires and get quality content consumption over Bluetooth/Wireless for a little "convenience".

Today, I made an event-based gamepad library.

Although, I was lazy. I am planning on only supporting one controller so the library only supports one controller at a time. Plus, it uses some global variables.

But still, kinda fun

Anyone who can recommend some good programming streamers? Currently I'm mostly watching Tsoding and Zorchenhimer and I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations

Also both tsoding and Zorchenhimer are really lovely to watch. Tsoding does a lot of different mainly lowlevel things (like making a game in C or adding gamepad support to GRUB) and Zorchenhimer developes games for the NES and they can both be found on Twitch

Playstation plus extra has pillars of eternity and pathfinder. Surprised to find out they had proper gamepad support. Really diggin the chilled nature of those games. Back to having the longest gaming sessions like when i was a teen. New games nowadays like the soulslikes games are too much sometimes. Especially when you just want to chillout. Also bcs of job cant do pc gaming with keyboard and mouse at all.

Is it possible to connect a USB gamepad to an AVD?

And anyone know a place I can find 8-bit ambient music or anyone can contract to do it?
