Why ? Why is there no time left for the cool stuff? Spending too much time at work - beeing tired- bought a new rasp-pi - it's already 1 year old - untouched @ home ... just why?
had holidays ... spent 4 days of 7 to recover - just slept.2 -
I worked for a streaming company where I was interviewing a candidate for a device position. I tried digging into his passions and hobbies and he told me he was using rasp pi:s to automatically download torrents and stream to Kodi.
He really wasn't reading up on which company he applied for.2 -
Finally got few cables and now I can connect my laptop and even my cubietruck (device llike rasp) to the crt TV which was lying waste. Thinking to provide cast service to use it to watch movies. I know the resolution will be poor up but still with a try ☺️2

It's my nephew's 12th birthday next week and I'd like to get a rasp pi kit with RetroPie and the NES controllers. Are there any decent UK suppliers that you know of? I've spent the morning looking and it's a mixed bag.4 -
I'm working on a project which monitors streaming videos from several Rasp Pi devices wirelessly. Should packet loss occur, the bitrate is reduced remotely by the central computer. (Packet loss is inevitable as wireless devices will compete for wireless bandwidth.)
To demonstrate my work I asked for a wireless WI-FI router rather than bringing one in from home. I wish I hadn't bothered... -
Been doing parallel programming and I’ll be taking a distributed systems course next semester. I’ve also been dabbling with Rasp Pis and have been enjoying working in linux/CLI and I’m considering getting building a cluster.
What are some use cases where I could put into practice distributed systems/parallel programming with cluster setups? No limits here :)2
