I am using VS Codium instead of VS Code to see what kind of things change when you scrape the Microsoft out of it. Apparently some tools for dotnet core like debugging are locked down and only allowed to run in Microsoft made IDEs.
I hate the sneaky Microsoft API lockdown nonsense and will be steering future projects away from any dotnet core development. I thought this was dead in VS Code but they managed to sneak it in.

VSCodium, just for a little moment, please go fuck yourself.

I mostly use netbeans but for just a little I'm using VSCodium (VSCode without the Microsoft calling home bullshit).

Just had this error I didn't see that fast and then, usually, whenever you put your cursor on the tee underlined code, it tells you the error in this drive-by popup thingy.

The goddamn popup disappears so fucking quick that its impossible to read.

Ended up trying to capture a screenshot in time which worked at try number 10+, then saw the error and corrected it.

VSCodium go fuck yourself. I'm not ready for this shit when I've just woken up and haven't fully drank my first coffee yet (or this is more like a triple espresso as for strength)

LOL I totally forgot about the school today.
I went to job as usual, opened up Vscodium and started to write some stuff.
Then it hit me 😅 Oh god...

It took my 5 hours to remember but I'm in class right now.

Depends on what I am doing, but for the most part: Emacs.

Closely followed by VSCodium and I then Vim.

The debugging options in VSCodium for when working with golang have certain limitations on them that have made me start writing more tests inside of my codebase (s).

I find this both beautiful and frustrating at the same time since for 1 it has made me(no, forced me) to learn testing on the language as a primary thing rather than an afterthought (judge me all you want) and if this was added by design to force people into properly writing tests then BRAVO.

VSCode. I need to work with multiple terminals, vim and git, with this I can do all in same window with gitlens, vim extension and vscode terminals.
Fairly interested in VScodium and Veonim.
