Just bought a new LG TV with WebOS on board. Am I watching cool FHD movies on it? Nope since I discovered I can create apps for it. Once developer, always developer.1

For God fucking sake! The absolute worst platforms are TV's.. LG - WebOS has barely any documentation and a framework that runs very poorly. Not to talk about the 200 bulletpoint self checklist you have to go through before you can submit a new release!
Samsung - Tiden TV... Told me to contact a content manager, and I've almost been waiting 3 months now for any answer, haven't heard a word. My boss thinks I should write another email and cc him so Samsung will get scared... Jesus fucking Christ this sector is a bunch of arrogant lazy fucks1 -
Prototyping a new operating system for Smart Mini Displays (Embedded Linux System) that can run even on low-end ARM motherboards.16

Only company that I really "hate" is Abstergo haha.
All others have their up and downsides I guess....
Microsoft:
+ Xbox One
- Windows
Apple:
+ iPad Mini (don't know any company that produces such high quality but very small tablets... Therefore I still use my ~6 years old iPad Mini 1. (The battery life is insane! After all this time it still lasts about 6-7 hours!)
- The new iPhones. No innovation. Just making money.
Samsung:
+ TVs
- Smartphones (a few crashes here and there, kinda ugly, explosions!)
LG:
+ TVs (webOS is the shit!)
- Heard the Smartphones suck, not sure
And so on....3 -
Fuck LG and fuck the person who invented WebOS. The shittiest tv OS I ever seen in my life. Gonna get either a chromecast 4k box or xiaomi mi tv box s, hopefully this piece of shit LG tv will atleast do the work then.1

I want to build a platform that decreases our need for apps. Right now it's hard for a new platform to enter the smartphone market as nobody will make apps for it if it has no users, nobody will use it if it has no apps, etc. without this centralization on apps we could see tons of new interesting smartphone platforms such as the ones that failed like Windows Phone, Firefox OS, webOS, etc.2

now instead of if I type in my address bar and select a bookmark to go to my Vivaldi web browser switches me to the fact I already have that tab open somewhere in one of my hidden workspaces
I want it to notice if I click on a link I already have open and switch to it lol
then I can hibernate my billions of tabs over and over again and not forget they exist somewhere in a workspace I forgot about lol
why have web browsers when you can have an immensely messy desk of notes you never got to
web browsers are inching ever closer to the Innovation that was WebOS. it's all about them cards, ayyo. let's invent the physics of the real world in boring digital spaces already idk. at least it's intuitive cuz millions of years of evolution conformed us to the physical world1
