Dream project? Create a social network for devs where they can rant. Just need to think of a name.
What do you mean it already exists!?!
😁2 -
My dream project is to work on a Hollywood grade raytracing engine (Pixar Renderman, Disney Hyperion,...) I have done some hobby grade ones like to produce the image here6
-
My dream is to build a shopping cart for web stores that doesn't fucking suck.
Seriously Bigcommerce, Shopify, Magneto, etc. All of you can eat bag of dicks and burn in hell for ever.
I don't care what languages you fancy, all of their stacks are a pile of shit, monkey patched together with popsicle sticks and duct tape and it all falls apart with high concurrency.
All their greasy haired sales teams will throw all manners of horse shit at the poor bastards who are trying to run a business so they can pad their commission checks... "High availability", "scalable", "reliable", "Increased conversation rate"... Lying dick fucks, all of them! I am calling them the fuck out on that snake oil they're all peddling.
The only thing worse than their shit APIs is the shit documentation and the shit support that accompanies them.
Support of these platforms are pretty much all the same, sure mayhaps one has 24*7 phone support and another closes at 9 or some shit like that, either way the only people they put on the phone are monkeys that will freeze up and say "I'm not a developer so I can't help you"... Guess what, "Eric"! I didn't ask if you're a fucking dev! I'm calling because one of your devs fucked up and I need you to tell him to unfuck it so I can get the fuck on with my day!
Their app/plugin market places are shameful to say the least. The overall quality of software is somewhat dire and it's mostly dominated by oversees developers who speak English about as well as the language they're developing with (not very well usually).
I could go on until I hit the character limit but I'm gonna end it here by saying, all shopping carts suck and they should burn for eternity in the depths of hell so that a savior can free all developers from this agonizing torment.9 -
reverse turing test in which you have to convince machine that you are a human... oh wait we already have captcha2

A CMS raping WordPress so hard up the ass till there is no tomorrow. I hate that bastardized piece of fuck. “Hey I want you to fix my page and its wordpress. I pay 20 bucks.“ Well fuck you too sir. Wordpress is no cms you wanna be coders. Get back to your fucking photoshop and design something original! Every fucking wp page looks the same. Every “nice feature“ is some kind of monkeypatched workarround. No problem i set preview pictures for every post just to enable some weird slider to function.
I also love those buttfucked files with just a “require foo“ which also just requires “bar“. Drop that fuck. Implement autoloading. Nobody uses php4 anymore step into the future. “easy to learn“ fuck me and fuck you untill you vomit jizz! Clusterfucked spaghetticode thats easy, easy to put another rotten load of clusterfuck on top. Also those security features. I put an empty index.php to prevent directory traversal. N I C E! Stop using wordpress as CMS, its a blog engine. Nothing great has every been written on top of wordpress and never will. I dare you to deny everything related to it and if you are one of those designer guyd, you can gargle my jizz you fucknut!
Starting 2017 i will start a counter and rape every 10th Wordpress which gets abused as cms i encounter into oblivion on their 0,99$ webhosting shit.
Fuck this I'm so mad about that crap17 -
I would say world peace, but that's had unlimited money and time into it and still failing, so I'll go for a sentient robot unicorn.8
-
The Matrix, minus the oppressive AI overlord, so I can jack into it and learn all the frameworks necessary to build said dream project.4
-
Should build something for the society
For the underdogs, the misfits, the voiceless
One app to solve it all
*Goes to sleep*3 -
Create an ai powered music app which understands my taste in music, such that i never have to skip songs while playing in shuffle mode.3
-
I have in my head parts of a game, I'd love to build. A top-down space colonization game. You control various spacecrafts and build spacestations etc. to expand your control.
The catch is that you have limited direct controls in-game. Most of the "gameplay" consists of having your own piece of software running somewhere, communicating with the API and controlling your colony.
Similar to Screeps, but I don't like the limitations of writing JavaScript and uploading it to the service. I'd love for the user to have free control of what language to use. They just need to be able to create a TCP socket and communicate with the API24 -
I started building a website. V2 became a single page application without a framework. V2.5 became a content management system.
I don't dream projects I just keep building...4 -
Dream Project?
A script that remotely destroys all fax machines used by my clients so that they are forced to use vFax/fax2email/emailing their fucking PDF, etc.1 -
My dream project. Although we have tools like facebook, twitter, whatsapp, you name it, and although whatsapp is 'officially' (between quotes because I won't believe that until proven by source code or something) end-to-end encrypted, I would like to create an open source platform which basically everyone can use which features all usual tools like email, calendar, voice/video calls etc while being entirely decentralized/end-to-end encrypted.
I'd like to create this because of my own daily struggle of refusing to use closed/non-encrypted tools for communication while a lot of people don't care about privacy and don't want to use tools like Signal, Tox and so on.
It's me not about making money, it's about providing a safe place where people can do their things without the possibility of being spied on without reason.16 -
I would hire all the devs and build an all powerful AI
So devs can come up with better jokes and not repeat old ones, it's clearly the main issue this world faces3 -
A neural network backed video search engine which would let me look up porn with the pornstar from the video that i'm watching right now :D10
-
An actual anonymous web browser that doesn't collect location info, search history, etc. It also blocks any website you use from collecting data on you.6
-
A simulation sandbox game engine where you literally have to use tools and power tools to cut through raw materials to build things3
-
A free, open source, modular (plugin based) home automation control center.
Ultimate goal is to support the core / apis and other devs code the drivers for the 'IoT' devices.
Also integratable with all the speech assistants like Amazon Echo, Google Assistant, Cortana etc.
Not that money dependent but very time consuming project.
Im starting in a week tho!4 -
I will start contributing to open source from 2017. I have joined a Full Stack JavaScript developer boot camp for 3 months where we will do yoga, meditation, SunSetdance, Bhajan, Kirtan, study and work on social projects for children and NGO' s.7
-
dream project you say. now we're getting somewhere interesting.
a voice/gesture activated automatic assistant that uses face reconition for identify checking along with it being able to see your mood.
tl;dr; aka jarvis6 -
My project wouldn't need a robust backend language, or even a fancy frontend framework...
With unlimited time and money, I would give every child under the sun the opportunity to stay alive, to have no fear of poverty or illness, and to prosper in their own way. Only one design pattern needed: HOPE... -
Finish all my on-going side projects that have been left to gather dust due to lack of time and resources...
They may not be any good however they are fun to work on when I can. -
My dream project is to create "The Machine" just like Finch did in Person of interest or to create the WestWorld Droids.
-
Traffic lights optimizer. Imagine big AI being plugged to all city's traffic lights and changing all durations in order to adjust all of them, if we add smart cars connected to it we might remove traffics at all. It is way ahead in future but would be cool.4
-
A program that generates a nice amout of money to travel the world and organize the stuff back home.7
-
I'd love to learn unity or UE4 properly and write a little 3D indie game. Written a few in 2 dimensions but the step up to 3 is daunting. Plus I don't know blender or Maya...yet4
-
Linux Distro with dark material design and all basic apps like browser, file manager etc also materialized and platform for developers to develop apps for this distro so that their apps look and work perfect in it!8
-
My current dream project is sailing a 21st Century Message in a Bottle across the Atlantic Ocean from US to Europe, satellite tracking it in apps and desktop environment and more importantly inspiring school children everywhere that anything you can imagine is possible. Fortunately, the project is rapidly becoming a reality - here's how:
- teamed with a few amazing devs virtually
- team created an effective infrastructure for communication and knowledge sharing
- researched oceanic patterns, satellite communications, sensors, material design, recovery logistics...
- developed budget and received funding sign off
- created realistic, yet aggressive project plan with deliverable dates
- built relationships with two Universities for Oceanic knowledge assistance
- developed a partnership with NOAA and will share info
Oh yeah, we did all that and are having fun in only 25 days so far! More challenges to come but we embrace the challenges!1 -
Build an app that would tell you about all the news that mainstream media doesn't want to cover, like what's happening in parts of Africa, the enslaved workers in the far East and the situation of the Syrian and Iraqi lands under siege.
Then follows it with a cute baby/puppy/kitten video so you don't end up looking at the "empty half of the cup"1 -
To create a bank that's 99% digital (the 1% is for office space) with no BS charges and kick-ass money management tools.5
-
Wish there would be a project, every one, PMs, designers, clients, bosses and of course programmers as well, has to code2
-
Carmack: "Hi, I am Carmack, your AI artist today. I create high definition 3D interactive world by listening to your verbal request or brain-computer interface."
User: "Hey Carmack, create me an ideal cyberpunk world."
Carmack: "World created. Here are the main resources used to synthesize your defintion of 'Cyberpunk'. Done. Is that what you want?"
User: "Hey Carmack, can you make it less similar to Coruscant, but more vintage, and more like Blade runner more like Africa, mixing super Mario galaxy. Also add a mansion similar to this link and the hot girl in this link. Make her ideal. Make the world ten times bigger than GTA V"
Carmack: "Alright, bro. The definition of "ideal" has been data driven by the norm on internet.
Done. Is this what you want?"
user: "Yes, test it in VR"
Carmack: "Enjoy."3 -
I would love to create food suggestor based on neural networks.
Something like tinder but you choose food.5 -
A linux distro with all popular apps rewritten from scratch to use a single UI toolkit and consistent default keymaps, for a smoother desktop experience.
It's one of the reasons I have a tough time switching full-time because all the apps I need use so many different toolkits/versions/random keymap variations (inconsistent font-sizing, ctrl+tab vs ctrl+pgup, etc) that even the thought of switching makes my head spin.
Love the way GNOME's been going though (Except for their default keymaps. Ctrl+PgUp for Next Tab? Srsly?), and KDE is getting more consistent.
And yes, I know you can modify keymaps, but just wish they'd stick to widely used ones by default).1 -
A tutorial app that convinces everyone to adopt UTC (so I no longer have to account for time zones and/or DST in code.)3
-
My dream project? A full immersion Virtual Reality... Like the NerveGear in Sword Art Online... *-*5
-
I'm thinking of opening a small onsite web development class for teenager (maybe between 10-20 yo). The problem in Indonesia is most of us learn programming language at an older age, maybe because of the language barrier and lack of good tutorials in Indonesian language.
I want to change that by teaching them early, so that in the future, Indonesia can contribute more to the world of software and web development. Maybe even create new JS frameworks.
JK. ;)
But I don't know where to start. I mean, I've never even posted any article or tutorial (I'm not good at writing). How do I develop the curriculum? I've thought about creating a web quiz, but what do I write? How do I make the material?
Has any of you ever done this?8 -
WordPress comes with alot of junks. I want to make a CMS similar to WordPress but for developers which has builtin functions to make websites easily and extend the functionalities easily. Where there is no fear when updating their website to the new version.4
-
A "secure" IoT framework, that integrates with the current system and helps in future implementations as well.
More importantly it would be universally adopted, open source and not proprietary .
Kinda working on something like it for a side project but really dunno where it'll end up! :/2 -
The Matrix. Then use the brains of the people plugged in like a computer cluster for large calculations.3
-
Dream project: mathematically proven secure OS. It would take forever, and be nearly impossible, but given enough time it is theoretically possible.6
-
I would love to develop true A.I, though one which doesn't want to kill.
Sort of like the machine in Person of interest, something which can be everywhere and acts as a guardian for all.
But ultimately looks after me. -
I am a lazy ass dev.
All I would make is a way to control my machine by thought.
I could then proceed to spend the rest of my days developing in bed, ordering food online and never having to move a single muscle ever again. -
My dream project is something very simple but not yet done in Pakistan.
I want to create a marketplace for musical instruments and related equipment. Currently it's very hard for amateur musicians in Pakistan to find the gear they're looking for, and being one of these musicians myself, I know how frustrating it can be. So it'd be great if I can solve that problem in a country where the government does very little to help independent artists grow.1 -
A parallel universe simulator which will show us what our lives could look like in other universes.5
-
My dream project is to continue and improve my gaming website. It's a blog & community that's supportive of (but not limited to) female gamers. It's a positive place for gamers of any type to go, judgement free.
I have so many big ideas for the site, a forum, possibly user profiles, gaming quizzes and trivia, lots more ways to interact. I would love to do like a "find the right game for you" type of thing and have more time to blog..but I just simply don't have the time right now. :(
Baby steps for now. 🎮4 -
Create a unified OS that runs across all electronics in existence (and can be loaded onto most older electronics running different OSes.)2
-
An identity platform where you can find each other, get the other's public key and preferred contact method. And the entire key exchange and choice of contact method are negotiated automatically. No vendor lock in, encryption happens on your own device. Effortlessly and securely communicating, no searching for skype name, email, phone number, setting up shit. It would just work.7
-
An alternative OS for phones able to be installed super simply without flashing or unlocking the bootloader, similar to how easy it was to jailbreak am iPhone years ago. It would also have a focus on privacy and the ability to turn off and on as much functionality as the user wants1
-
I want to build a home AI/assistant...Better than Zuckerberg's that the whole world could use, easily2
-
A music community! A Real world one with tech to organize it.
Actually working on it with finite time and money -
Just imagination but, if infinite money and resource was present (and if this was hypothetically possible)...
A machine that is able to replicate ONLY one portion of the brain thinking activity and produce a version of a robot with that thinking capacity. This would be unique per person, and licensed in a way so that the owner of the robot is only able to use and control it. (I'm saying only one thinking capability should be allowed as a robot should never replace a person ideally.)
This would mean that the person is able to increase efficiency as the robot could be set to resume activities in the period that the person can't (i.e. sleeping).
One example of using this scenario could be that the person chooses to create a robot by replicating their coding thinking capabilities. This would mean the robot doesn't do much but has the same thinking ability to code as the owner. The robot could be used when the owner is sleeping or on holiday. As the thinking capacity is the same, the code logic would be the same as when the owner would have wrote it.
This would be a DREAM project to work on.
But alas... This isn't happening anytime soon in my lifetime (or ever realistically).1 -
To make all those "You know how to code right? So i have this app idea. Imagine Facebook BUT for ____" i get requested.2
-
A bot that passes the Turing test so easily that it makes you question about your own consciousness!2
-
To have only one Javascript framework which everyone can use which does not do breaking changes every fuckin 6 months or year. And newer versions are backwards compatible. And will not endorse in any framework wars1
-
Some method of getting useful bug reports from users and clients with an AI that can prioritise them.
At leat then I wont get priority 1 "Wrong shade of blue on button" -
To be honest I would like to have the possibility to make coffee over htcpcp... But i don't want to open up my coffee maker3
-
When you are finally gaining some momentum after ironing out some crucial flaws on your pseudocode, ready to code and test, but then a wild meeting suddenly appears!1
-
I would build the world's first artificial super-intelligence, and then proceed to create THE FIRST... GALACTIC...EMPIRE!!!3
-
My dream project is to build my own analytics system and project on monitors which basically says everything live users on site, what every user is doing... where my site is failing etc...
Fortunately I'm solely working on it and implementing in the company I work. So, in couple of months it is going to be realistic.
#awesome #analytics2 -
I Have always wanted to create a game with tons of openness. Kind of a mix between Dishonored, Thief, and We Happy Few. You have an entire active city where people actually have goals and daily jobs and such. It would be cool to have everything time based, so stuff happens even if you're not doing anything, and even be able to live a practically normal life, get a job, make friends. See news happen, and perhaps in the dead of night you turn into an assassin and prevent events from happening that could kill many people. And so on. Just being able to watch the city lively at work and NPCs actually having goals to complete each day, it would be so interesting. I suppose Skyrim is the closest game to my idea as of current3
-
Skynet 😎 **evil laugh**
Or at least, an AI that can detect and emulate emotions, including sarcasm. Without errors or false results 😐1 -
World wide health care system, the data will help every human on earth, that will enable us to understand the mystique patterns of human body.
-
My dream project is a heavily story-driven game, with plenty of decision-making for the player and a lot of possible endings. With no money or time limits, I would make it with live action scenes. Just a great movie in which you have the final cut.
-
A personal peer-to-peer music streaming app that doesn't need cloud storage. It's like Spotify + Resilio Sync. So, i can access all of my song from the connected device.5
-
AI based epidemiologist with a simulator support to rerun it's experiment. It can identify trends in epidemic arrivals and provide solutions to stop it. Advantage will be faster and safer experiments, which is now done manually.
-
A gene development framework that could:
* simulates the resulting proteins correctly (folding and all)
* debug genetic sequences/proteins
* Design injectors for gene sequences into an existing genetic sequence
Etc'2 -
A Chinese coworker who always brought a tea flavoured hand lotion bottle and applied it before coding on his finger tips and wore the same clothes from Monday to Friday changed only his shoes...2
-
I've seen a lot of stuff mentioned here from little hobby projects to Matrix. This might seem unreachable because it's just too utopic, but I'd really love to at least see the world using one single platform for software that would "just work™".
Like, here you have - simple glue lang, SDK with billion _useful_ libraries that also just work™ and no need to change the code too much or select an alternative function for each different platform e.g. via macros and one last wish - it'll work on every machine that's capable of running any code.
Maybe one day...2 -
Internet-based open source platform for democracy. That is, a package of code that you can use as a website that would basically encapsulate all the functions of incorporating the voice of the people into governmental decision-making -- like voting, initiatives/referendums/recalls, contacting representatives or other officials, etc.
This would also be something that could be used to run a private organization or public company as well. Hopefully super flexible.4 -
A multistage project that includes: 1, A version of Linux that natively supports every existing windows api call by converting it to work with a standard *nix call. 2, a gui for said distro for every flavor of windows 7 and newer that looks and behaves exactly(minus silly errors) like that windows version. 3, a virus that infects the Microsoft servers as well as every isp to identify every windows user connected to the internet. 4, infect said isps and force push my Linux kernel and gui to every windows effectively erasing every instance of the OS off the face of every connected computer. 5, wipe all Microsoft servers of code related to the operating system, but leaving all their other products.2
-
I'd like to in any job in an R&D team dedicated to trying out the latest tech and hack prototypes out... That wouldn't even be work, workafrolic daily.1
-
To explore and collect knowledge, power and wisdom while wandering through the infinite abyss of space....5
-
Smart contact lenses and the appropriate software. It would be the ultimate AR experience. I have no idea how to produce them, as they would need to be super high resolution, lag free, completely wirelessly powered and connected, safe to use and to wear and useable 24/7.
My current concept is a ultrabook sized block that can be taken around in a backpack.
Oh and wireless handoff ...
meaning everything I grab and throw in your general direction becomes available to you, kind off like they do it in Avatar. This should also work with PCs, tablet and everything else.
Speaking of grabbing you would also need some kind of minority report glove so every bit of hand movement can be tracked precisely. But probably a bit more elegant meaning only small stickers on the back of your hand.
Did I mention that sharing stuff should enable working together on the same object in real-time?
Also this system should integrate seamlessly with a smart environment, meaning looking at the light, opening its context menu and changing its brightness or colour should be no effort at all.
And of course all of it should be open source, highly scalable and either hosted on public infrastructure (funded by taxes or smt) or by each individual for himself to protect his or her privacy.
So who is with me?2 -
A VR/AR OS, with gesture recognition and virtual tools, to substitute workstations.
Imagine painting a picture in a AR canvas, for example.
Or using photoshop in VR for a distraction free enviroment. For coding, I would want to use a real keyboard, of course, but I would use virtual screens for everything.
The possibilities are endless, but people would probably use it mostly for porn, obviously. -
An AI that's sole purpose is to teach us what we don't know or something we missed by combing the Internet and putting all the information together. For example, it should be able to figure out the most efficient way to launch a rocket based on everything we know already5
-
I just came up with an idea while writing and I can't share it because I really need to trademark it first 😛😂
-
I would start with the development of the idea me and my friends made a business plan about a while back. It was about a medicine cabinet which offers you only the medication you need and the right amount of it. It furthermore informs you about side effects and alerts when you run out of stock. It was meant to fit elderly as well as also large scale hospitals were one case would be used for each room of patients.5
-
dream with unlimited time and money.... would be to start a kickstarter project that never actually launches and just keeps collecting even more money lol1
-
My dream project is happening right now! Become the ultimate programmer and learn all the programming languages2
-
Bring Word Art into the 21st century. Most of early computer training hinged on the use of Word Art.
-
My dream project is to revamp education, be it through an app of some sort or by any other mean.
Can't justify spending a quarter of your life in a place you usually don't want to be, listening to stuff you can't relate, being taught by people who wasn't born to teach and being tested for things you will never use and couldn't care less.
Come on, there has to be a better way! And this goes beyond online courses.1 -
Not to sound self centric, but a cyborg clone of myself with close to but not fully true consciousness.
Would always have something to talk about and would probably be a great pair programming partner as we'd be almost in sync and on same wavelengths ;p -
An open science. Or is there already one? I want to make it mainstream. I want collaboration for scientists, researchers and engineers. The right mix of stackoverflow and collaborizm.
-
Actually build a deep reinforcement learning algorithm. To play games for me and watch, or some other goal. Actually I'm still looking for a fun, interesting, and realistic purpose for this algo :)
-
Our robot overlord. Humans are corruptible. An algorithm would not care about monetary benefit, using drugs, or sexy times for itself.1
-
A pure r&d project! Get to try out all the cool new things. Yes I know it will probably be out of date by the end of my first day! One can only dream! 😉
-
An application which can read your requirements documentation and use GitHub README's to seamlessly integrate different projects to give you the output. 😎
-
Magic: The Gathering, now with Holo Lens or similar. Pokémon Stadium, Yugi Oh, all these games or series giving you a real atmosphere experience.
-
I would hack the heck out of Roslyn Analyzers! Everything that could be f*ckin detected at compile-time _would_ be f*cking detected at compile-time. All those freaking config files usages, or attributes/reflection. Analyzers for everything, with sensible error messages! (Although I realize I that's overstretching the concept of unlimited time)
-
A truly scary multiplayer gothic horror action RPG set in a Victorian world with a Lovecraft inspired story (already got the story written as it so happens) with multiple mutually exclusive but tightly linked story lines. That is to say you can experience only one part of the unfolding story with the player having to communicate and interact with others in the game world to discover the full horror of the world.
The world would not have instances the world would be in a state that players find it in, based on what other players had done.
I have a lot of the game mechanics thought out, but time and money... If only it were limitless...3 -
Intellisense that would fix all my typos! 😜
I want it to be that good that I can just squirt on my keyboard and it still recognizes sensible code! -
Actually good and free pdf generation for each and every language.
Preferably from html and it should understand css3 standards as well as js3 -
Neural scan coding, so I just think what I want and it writes out the code in a new neural language and works!
-
Household management system - accessible via web and app. Helps you run your household better in every way.3
-
An App/service which would help doctors and patients to schedule consultation hours. Also an patient would always have medical relevant documents as digital documents. No more waiting for faxes, no more lost diagnostic sheets everything is always in reach. No more search for an MRI appointment and no more overfilled waiting rooms. Better programms for docs! The ones ive seen in hospitals and doctors offices looks horrific..1
-
#1 clean up the internet of domains, use those beautiful and fancy TLDs - blog, photography, gallery, cloud, house, gov, xxx
#2 more fanatical - clean the internet of cat / dog / [supposedly cute animal] pictures, and later - npm packages1 -
Procedural dungeon, populated with procedural enemies, equipped with procedural loot, given
procedural stats and elements.
Pretty much if No Man's Sky was in a dungeon, and good.3 -
Unlimited time and money? Maybe something with real/strong AI and nanotechnology involved. Don't worry, I'd take some safety precautions not to destroy the world :D
-
Dont want anything, maybe an alternative main stream social network which I actually own my data and I can define who accesses it and who doesnt. Its my info not the company that it is being held on.
Smart p2p and encrypted which somehow only those I allow can view it.3 -
A system of universally accessible storage. Here is what I mean:
1. The fastest protocol available would be used (LAN:smb, else:sftp)
2. File transfers would be direct (no download from A, upload to B)
3. Transfers could be resumed
4. Transparent to normal programs
5. Integrated with GUI file manager
But I'm extremely bad at C, so... -
I wanna cool robot sidekick,
The more irritable the better, like bender from futurama or K2 from rogue one. (Even murderous maniac of a an ai like hal9000 and skynet is fine)
The machine learning technologies aren't just there yet though, they can be irritable but not because of their smart ass answers just the opposite really.
I will need a team with 100+ people that are experts in neurology AND machine learning. Also 10 years.. we will get there !1 -
The Uniparser: a single, self-describing general parser capable of parsing/syntax highlighting/linting every language ever made.
-
My dream project is one which will calm devs' atmosphere, to create a cool interface between a dev and some fucking PMs, dont really need to interact with them at the 'backend'
-
Super solar power plants around the earth to powering robots and factories producing equipment to search and research more efficient energy sources across the universe and mapping the whole ma'fucka resource wide would be a nice project to spend some days at.
-
A JS framework and a library that combines all the respective JS frameworks and libraries into one single framework and library.
-
A device that makes women understand that we cannot focus on them all the fucking time, therefore, making them understand that if we can't does not mean we don't care...3
-
An easily extendable voice activated AI. Basically a personal assistant made for programmers that can be extended to meet their personal needs. Sort if like the echo, but you have a more accessible API.2
-
An artificial human brain with computers operational power. OMG !!!! That will surely take unlimited time.2
-
I want to finish my game which is a mixture of Scorched Earth and a JRPG with mecha and spells you have to program with a drag and drop interface.
-
Build a automatic diagnostic system that sequences your DNA and runs blood tests in hours, then creates personalised medication for your illness.
-
M dream project would be an AI that codes with me. I would train it to write clean and nice code.
Because I don't want to stop coding. And an AI that fully developes on its own is meh.
Finally no annoying lazy students anymore which refuse to follow fucking style guides1 -
I think I just figured out my problem. I can't think of any dream that I want. As I sat here, there is not a single thing that I could dream... I just wanted to stop feeling this way.1
-
I have always wanted too work on lossless compression technology. I have just never had the time to go after it. Or do I really know where to start lol1
-
Getting my own island where the weather is always good, the beaches are white, the water is blue, the food is plenty and good, the internet is fast and I have a lot of servants to do all my chores. My wife and kids can also come and I'm free to invite whoever I want, whenever I want.
What? Nobody said it had to be about programming! 😱1 -
A project that will make me financially independent. Baseline for what i mean by financial independence is earning >= $1 per second for rest of eternity.
-
An educational platform that would easily be distributed and used by everyone. (Even the third world countries) This platform would teach not only the conventional stuff that the most of the actual school system do. It would teach and evaluate all kinds of stuff. Music, track some sport stats..etc.
Education is the key to the future.4 -
An existing project I've been working on for a about a year now.

- I tested it before!
- Haskell is a terrible language

I want to build a platform that decreases our need for apps. Right now it's hard for a new platform to enter the smartphone market as nobody will make apps for it if it has no users, nobody will use it if it has no apps, etc. without this centralization on apps we could see tons of new interesting smartphone platforms such as the ones that failed like Windows Phone, Firefox OS, webOS, etc.2
