Uh...all of them? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I used to work with a 'floor supervisor' who vaped excessively and obnoxiously. He had one of those things that made vapor like a space shuttle launch too. When he was talking during conference calls or presentations, rapt attention and respect were demanded. When anyone else was presenting, *whoosh*, big cloud of vapor, right in front of the screen, right in the presenter's face. It looked like the building was on fire ten minutes in. Opening the door was like getting out of a car that's been hotboxed. That guy was a douche.2 -
When you make a tech-ish joke and you have to explain it because your coworkers aren't that tech-ish.2

I don't see how anyone codes for a living then goes home to code personal projects. Power to you guys, but it's like an electrician coming home everyday and rewiring his house with a new type of wire.17

People that comment random subreddits on platforms other than reddit, such as r/whoosh, are the bottom feeders of comedy and are definitely mouth breathers. Probably have a smooth brain too.
That shit's lame asf and not funny at all.13 -
Stakeholder's last minute request turns into a show stopper requirement after I explain to them is way too late for that.

"It should be fairly simple to find a service to do this thing."
Then why are you assigning me the task instead of handling it yourself? Obviously if it's that simple you already did all the research on the possible options, right? In which case, why waste my time? :P -
This is a praise not a rant.
Anyone else feel like sometimes they owe their successes to Stack Overflow? Reflecting back over my decade as a professional developer, I couldn't count the number of deadlines I would have missed.1 -
Interface is the most misleading term in .Net. It's not an "interface" when an object requires a set of objects defined by another object! It's a template if anything! I'd even accepted CookieCutter or Mold.

I love deadlines.
I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.

We regularly have deadlines set before they've worked out anything about what's in the release, and business takes their time, so we're literally told "we don't know what business is going to want, but we have to start coding now to meet the deadline"

Sat on a bus heading home next to some guy who clearly hasn’t got knowledge of how to use a pair of fucking headphones and it sat playing a fucking game with the volume on loud, and all I can hear is the same fucking “whoosh, ping” noise fucking over and over again or he’s watching those shitty videos on Facebook
IT’S DOING MY FUCKING HEAD IN!!!!!! GET A PAIR FUCKING HEADPHONES OR MUTE YOUR FUCKING PHONE!!!!! NO-ONE WANTS TO HEAR THAT SHIT!!!!!2 -
