If you ever are going to be touching a computer or do anything that might require two hands, a Madonna mic is the way to go. TBH even if you don’t expect to be doing anything like that is still use a madonna mic
-
Apparently he decided to put it on the App Store eventually
-
One interesting thing I’ve noticed is that companies like Apple and Microsoft are moving more and more towards open-source. IIRC Apple made iOS open-source and Microsoft has made (at least parts of) Windows open-source, so there is progress on that front
-
@uyouthe no I’m not - how is this overenginering
-
Wouldn’t that be athlon.status = Bored.AF
That’s Assuming Bored is a class... it could also be
althlon.status=Status.BORED_AF
But in any case what kinda fucking class has a “bored” field -
@aaxa but what if I want pictures of the poo...
-
Unless you’re @Michelle ‘s brother... then it looks like you’re hacking
-
@g-m-f @theNSA is this the case?
-
@FrodoSwaggins it’s almost like I’ve already put my school in my bio 🤔🤔
-
@linuxxx thought you might appreciate this
-
@1989 Google’s agenda is making money that’s pretty clear lol
-
📌
-
@linuxxx sent! Sorry it was so late 😔
-
@linuxxx you got an email? Or some other way of sending it that isn’t a public forum :p
-
@linuxxx if you’re still sending them i could give you my address ;$
-
@Jop- Theres no toy gun emoji. There is only a gun emoji... Apple happens to have chosen a toy looking gun as their icon /but it still is a gun/
-
@Jop- do you even Unicode? Apple doesn’t send “Toy gun” they send 🔫 which is a sequence of bits that represents “the gun emoji”. Then depending on what browser/phone/Computer you view it on, that computer displays that sequence of bits as the corresponding emoji. There’s nothing secret about it
Edit: words are hard -
Here’s a use case where a MBP with USBC makes 100% sense (and this is exactly my use case):
- You need a laptop with high performance because it is your only computer
- you need a ridiculously good battery life because you’re away from home for >8hrs at a time and don’t want to have to charge constantly
- You have a heavy backpack already and don’t want a heavy or bulky laptop
- but you can’t stand <15” laptops
- you need a computer that won’t be fucked up by not treating it nice (I am prone to dropping my backpack probably a bad idea)
- You do not need to connect to USB or Ethernet or anything like that almost ever outside of your home.
- at home, you have like 20 different “things that plug into your computer” anyways so it’s not like having an adapter matters
- You like *nix but don’t want to use Linux because a lot of games aren’t supported on Linux and restarting every time I want to game makes me angry -

Can someone educate me on what a seed box is?

@bittersweet hey uh you looking for a systems intern?
:p -
Favorited :D

@balte I mean sure scare tactics and all but if this guy has watched any youtube he’ll know that’s just completely wrong.. I mean as examples, look at
- Sp4zie
- Doublelift
- Pewdiepie
- C9 Shroud
None of these people are fat, ungroomed, live in their parents basement or have no chance at a gf (I know DL has one and Sp4zie had one for 7 years before they broke up a few months ago, don’t know anything about pewdiepie or shroud)
And even the only neckbeard/fat streamer I know of (Imaqtpie) makes a shitton Of money (I think I’ve heard the number $1,000,000 be thrown around but I’m not sure) -
@sam9669 I said that Macs are really good at detecting false clicks and not responding (0 false clicks for me). Your response was that this was because earlier models had smaller mouse pads. I sent a photo of my MBP 2017 to show that this was an irrelevant statement because I /own/ a MBP with the huge track pad and I still haven’t had any false clicks
-
@edensg @sam9669 and it can’t be explained by “oh your palm just rests lightly” I just tested pushing down my palm hard on my trackpad and it did not respond
-
@sam9669 ?
-
@sam9669 Macs are really good at figuring out if you actually clicked or not I have had 0 false clicks on one
-
Thats more of a status than a notification. When You lock your screen that is the only thing you see and it doesn’t produce a buzz or a sound.
-
@plyman I mean the two are not mutually exclusive. Apple could want a certain quality AMOLED screen before releasing, and Samsung just released as soon as they had anything. In other words there’s nothing saying that Samsung and Apple have the same standard for what is good enough to release
