I was getting tired of this guy asking me about really simple things, so when he asked me how to change the email signature I taught him how to google it. He unironically thanked me.3

So, yesterday I was talking to a friend who had a fukin BUSINESS IDEA of starting Uber like service for his local town(where his university is).
Apparently, the moron was searching for someone to make an Uber like app for him (Both fukin Android and iOS) and he was hoping to get it done in under fukin 5000 INR (less than 100 USD).
I was like wtf 😐7 -
Why would anybody do this?
Especially the last point
aaaaaab is already a lot more secure then 1234 but who cares, right?8 -

Dev Requirements
- Must have an active GIT hub profile to the point that you couldn't possibly have a social life5 -
So my classmate just decided to write "printf("Suck my balls I dont remember how to do this);" in a programming exam and forgot to delete it before handing it in.
Well... after saying "sorry" like a hundred times the teacher accepted his apology.8 -

The past couple of weeks I've been struggling with my laptop. It regularly ran out of memory and when that happens everything runs in a snail pace. I always thought 8GB would be enough for developing software, but I was terribly wrong.
So I ordered another 8GB and installed it yesterday. Later at work I looked at the ram usage and noticed that it was up to nearly 13GB!
I have no idea how I managed to get by with only 8 for so long. 🤔
FYI: I usually have 2 to 3 IDEs and a gazillion chrome tabs open 😅6 -
Been working with Git every day for the last 3 years and never had a problem with it.
Enters Windows.Stash changes, tries a simple stash apply:

So day 2 of my python automations.
I have spent 6 hours and a lot of stack overflow “research” to saved myself 45 minutes a day with file downloads (web & ftp and outlook emails), excel spreadsheets and data manipulation macros, all stored in a nice tidy zip file at the end.
Now to find a way to send to a web server for digestion 😎
And all of this in a poor 90 lines 😧
God damn why didn’t I look into this earlier?2 -
With everyone praising the new Firefox, it feels good to have contributed to it in some small way :)3
