@Sid2006 I’m pretty sure people said the same thing about smartphones.
-
Does your computer not support .norm file format?

Sus

You can never check off the do absolutely nothing check box because if you do, it counts as doing something.
-
Have you heard of Rejection Therapy?
-
Underpromise. Overdeliver. Always.

@darksideofyay I found it
https://reuters.com/world/americas/...
There is just way too many governments trying to do shit and way too many things Google is trying to do, it’s hard to tell what refers to what. -
@darksideofyay not with little to no context. Not everyone lives in the same country so it won’t be on the index page either.
-
Would be nice if these rants also linked a fucking source!
-
I thought it was AOK. Not disappointed either way.
-
@retoor Turtles are fucking animals.
-
@tosensei living up to that username, sensei!
-
@soberGhost can’t speak for Google. But for apple, it’s not auto-tracked. You get an option to record your sexual activity data manually.
-
@We3D I’m not worried. They’ll eventually they’ll come back as well!
-
@hjk101 I used to do that as well. I have now moved on to Apple’s hide my email for this stuff. I just deactivate the emails after giving it to services like these and re enable when needed.
-
You also create infinite amount of unique emails by using a “+”
Netikras+uuid@gmail.com = netikras@gmail.com -
@retoor That’s good to know. But why does that make debit cards a better choice?
For what it’s worth, I think even in Canada, lots of people actually use debit cards. For the most part they use it to avoid overusing credit cards. -
@kiki Oh I did not know they were not a universal concept. Good to know.
I have lived in India, Canada and of course is common in the states as well. Don’t know about Europe. -
@kiki wait it’s not how all credit cards work? No interest for a month?
-
@kiki that’s cool. No question about cash being a better choice for privacy. I find myself trying to move to cash as well day by day.
However, if we’re comparing debit vs credit cards, credit cards are safer choice. I would not say better, because that’s subjective. -
@kiki credit cards are generally safer choice. Your card gets skimmed, stolen or lost, you report it and get a new card. Everything is covered by insurance and your money is not at stake while being disputed.
Also there’s usually good rewards or cash backs. -
@jeeper thank you! I did not know about the origins of the body/blood of Christ thing.
-
@NoToJavaScript still cheaper. I pay ~C$100 for 300mbps up and down :(
-
And they charge me 5% for the crime of using credit card. I do blame the government for that one.
-
@NoToJavaScript I gotta move to Quebec. It’s 165cad here and that’s discounted price for a 2year lock in.
-
@randomdude why the fuck not?
-
@jonas-w alternatively they provide a list of sites where I can get free stuff? Nice!
-
@Wisecrack It is. Drink less, run more.
-
@FuckJava because they’re called goddesses when they’re female.
-
Good for you! Great work!
