I: if we use Chef to deploy our project to the different servers, we can save a lot of time and hassle (also for the server people)
They: Do we need it now, because it takes a lot of time..

Yes, it takes some more time initially but it pays back in the long run especially because now we have a terrible mess of server environments..

So nice, a good, well structured DTAP environment with Acceptance and Test containing a recent dump from Production so that bugs can be reproduced properly........ *wakes up*

And even worse there are plans to upgrade to WildFly (which is newer, up to date, more secure.. but this is put lower on the priority list by PM :/

Why is it so f*cking difficult to get an application deployed locally with IntelliJ on a Weblogic <ancient version> application server in debug mode... thank you Oracle!
