I am the only developer for a nationwide company. Everyone else in this company has no idea about IT, from the owner down.

I have about a year of actual IT experience, so God knows how I got this role.

Fellow developers, especially .NET developers, how do you estimate the time required to complete tasks set by none technical people?

TL;DR: Best C# and .NET accreditation courses (UK)?

I've started a new job as a .NET Software Developer. Now I have never done C# before but they want to send me on some courses to learn.

First I have to recommend what courses though. Price isn't an issue but they want me to give them a variety of courses available. Ones that are crash courses and online learning courses. I want it to be accredited so I can come away with something to show on my CV/LinkedIn.

What C# and .NET courses would you guys recommend or what course providers would you recommend (in the UK).

36 Hours straight. Admittedly I was on a study drug for this.

I had a mobile application module. The whole thing was marked on a massive project that I hadn't touched... until 36 hours prior to the deadline.

Brought a shed-ton of study/concentration pills from the darkweb, and designed, programmed and deployed in 36 hours (for Android).

... Also got a first in that coursework... mhm..

... And slept for 4 days straight after...

When your boss decides to adjust the website you've spent 20hours+ on, fucks up several parts of it and then a) Doesn't tell you about it and b) Doesn't even attempt to fix it.

This is why I want to go freelance... And hate people...
