No mother fucker, I don't give a fuck about you wanting me to reinvent the fucking wheel to do state management. I'll just use NgRX like any sane guy and just handle it with stores.
I don't fucking care if you're my Angular teacher and never heard about NgRX stores.
I don't even fucking know why I'm still in this fucking course to begin with.7 -
Applied for a job at Canonical.
Was waiting for an e-mail response to know if I would move up the interview process or not.
Got a standardized e-mail to evaluate their hiring methods and how fast it was.
In that standardized e-mail there was this question:
"Do you know why you didn't move up on in the application process?"
Fuck. The e-mail should have something saying "Spoiler alert".6 -
Was struggling to find motivation to start coding again. So I decided to get back to college and finish what I started. I'm just done with my first semester as top in class.
Now, I just can't stop. I'm always craving for more projects. My brain even stopped craving for games. And I've always been a big gamer.
Do I need help? Is it unhealthy?3 -
Well, I have a friend working on a major bank in my city. Yesterday we went for a coffee when he told me that the wifi connection that the costumers can use is the same as the network they work in. Like, are you fucking me? Do they know what security means? Jesus Wallace, wake up!
And they have a fucking "web security guy" working there. Doing what? Installing ccleaner on pcs? This shit gets me mad. And that's why I don't trust banks.4 -

So, it finally arrived 🤓
Been waiting for so long to get my hands on one of these! Finally I can start messing around with it 😄23 -
Yay! I'm at the 1000++ club 😃
Special thanks to @ebourgess @bitsnpieces and @J-2FA for the 400++ in like what, 4 hours? Much love guys ♥️♥️4 -
So, I'm a Portuguese dude. I have my OS's in English language and Portuguese keyboard. Today, I spent 30 min raging at my computer because I couldn't login. I tried like all my 865725428 passwords (fake number, in case u don't get it) and still couldn't access it. Then I fucking looked and remembered Windows is an asshole and changed my keyboard input to English, so all my symbols were changed. Fuck you Windows, Linux never did this to me. Y the fuck would u? Do u like to fucking make me waste my precious time? Go and fuck yourself with a 35'' CAT-5E cable you prick.10

Was like 6 when my parents bought their first computer. I don't really remember much of it besides countless hours of playing Need for Speed Hot. That and Diddy Kong Racing on my Nintendo 64. How I miss those times.
P.S: reposted it because I forgot the wk tag and the 30 min edit had already passed . -
Everytime, literally. I may be really good at X language that I will always doubt my skills. In the end of the day, I prove myself wrong in doubting, but until then "I don't think I can do it" is always on my mind.

So, tomorrow I'll have some guys changing the pavement on my condo. I'm freaked out af they will be touching my things. I have my server, my pc and all my hard drives in my room, and unfortunately won't be @ home to supervise them. What now? 😶5

So, I'm supposed to do a project in Haskell that is due next week. It's a group project and it's me and 2 colleagues. Unfortunatelly one of them had to drop college because of some personal problems. I feel bad for him.
The thing is, the other one has no clue what Haskell is. I mean, he has no clue how programming is. He doesn't even know what an array is, like, wtf.
Sure, I can do the work all by myself and take the credits for it. But he's a nice guy and has been asking me to teach him Haskell in my spare time. He even told me to tell the teacher I did the project all by myself.
I'm kind in the middle of an existencial crisis. What should I do?
Life sucks, dam.8 -
So finally I could find a part-time job! Better yet, I'll be paid as a full time worker! It's a shame it isn't tech related, I'll be taking care of a small firm's finances. But hey, I got a small office that, as my employer told me, I can use outside of work, for whatever I want! It's been a good year so far!1

So, today I've read a study that says that chocolate '' improves brain function ". Bullshit. What improves brain function is having a glass of scotch while programming. Damn, I even write code faster. The problem is the morning after when I re-read my programm. I really didn't thought I knew mandarin.3

My biggest dev regret is not starting earlier. I started learning how to code only 5 years ago, when I was 19. God, I wish I started earlier.

So, I implemented a 30 min jogging first thing in the morning to my daily routine.
Needless to say that I've done it for about 3 days before I failed at waking up early enough to run before having to leave for college. It was a fun ride though 😊 -

That moment when u buy an extra SSD so you can have windows to play some random MMOs with your friends and that bitch tries to sneak your Linux's boot priority.
No Windows, u're just here to play some games. No u can't boot everytime. Only linux can do that. Thank's but I don't even want a browser on you, I already have all the .exe files I need.2 -
Sooo... I have an Haskell exam tomorrow and I thought I had the evening to review some stuff and try to code a little bit more. Guess I was wrong since I had to take my sister to her soccer practice at 7 pm and am arriving just now home.
Well, I guess if I fail, I'll just blame it on her.
That's what siblings are for, right?5 -
So... I joined the Blacker black side and shit's awesome!
Anyways, just wanted to take a break from my Functional Programming study for my exam I have on Tuesday. My brain's a mess rn.8 -
So, today I was at my college library, working on an Haskell project that I have for my Functional Programming class. Library's packed and no seats are available, when the lady that works there passes behind me and says:
"There's people that want to study, if you're gonna be playing on your laptop please leave."
What? Excuse me? Are we in the 21st century or what?
How does a lady that works at a library, on an Engineering College, for more than 10 years, doesn't...
Screw it, I just laughed so hard and proceeded working.
Oh and by the way, first time posting on here!12
