I think not. You just have to master your current project at the company, know every inch of it, and be able to communicate passionately with other teams about it.
-
Hazarth95212yYou not only need to know all of them, but you have to create a new one yourself and have 5 years of experience in it
-
On a serious note, no. But you should understand how they work under the hood to achieve what they do
-
Earu5632yNo, you just need to be around for a while, grow some business sense and have HR on your side. The technical seniority is bs in most cases, most people calling themselves seniors aren’t that much better technically in my experience anyway
-
Take it slowly, learn 4 frameworks at a time instead of learning all of them at once
-
rox798352yYou just need to stay in one company... with my experience I can say the longer you stay in a company and perform .. the senior role automatically comes to you
-
@PonySlaystation after you said the word "stonkoverflow", I am only left to wonder: are they on the NYSE and if so, how are they doing on there?!
-
awigotsky62y@rox79 Last 5 years I have been with same company, have been using different frameworks and languages but almost the same salary
-
rox798352y@awigotsky then switch the job..this company not meant for you. I was being offered senior role just by staying 1 year in a company
-
@awigotsky wow, you should run as fast as you can. Good company usually have career path for their employees and tell them what criteria you should get to climb the ladder, or you ou can ask if the information is not provided. 5 years without promotion and same salary? Man, inflation is eating your money everyday.
