OMFG!! My computer rebooted.. after VS is again performing voodoo stuff on my code..can you please fucking stop reformatting everything!? OMG it's driving me crazy, I've already disabled every format option I could find.. you piss me off one more time, I'm switching to np++!!!!6

Gotta love it when you try out a different VS Code extension for a specific language and then on each autoformat, more and more spaces get inserted.

Autoformat. My boss hates it when I use it, he tells me if I do it again I'll get some pain. Namely because autoformat mixed in with code changes is ugly, that's understandable. But he's barred me from using it entirely, although I find it useful when working in Python or CSS... So to circumvent this I make a separate commit with "cleanup", however I sometimes forget to do this... I know I've forgotten, because my boss calls my name from the room next door. I get up, step inside his office and - "Don't use f****** autoformat!". Well FML.8

My company ex-IT Maintainer, left a long automation script in c++, bit of python 2, and bash for our server which developed long before i went to junior high school. and now, the system is outdated, and have a compability problems. so i got task to give it a fix.
when i opened the source code up. i was like; holy shit who the hell write a code especially c++ all aligned to the left, Yes All of it, not a single line are indented. but in the other side the code seems maintainable, and after autoformat, autoindent and couple of fix later, it was readable. I am just wondering who the hell in the world write a code with a style like that ???? i knew he was aware of code style and indentation since he wrote couple of python scripts. Unbelievable.
sadly i cannot show you the pict cuz of company things. -
rust, where pressing autoformat won't format your code but will format your comments which are just there because you're trying to keep track of the data you're going to parse and now that shit is off the page motherfucker can you not5

Visual Studio can stop being a fucking asshole and stop tabbing my code around for me, you piece of shit.
I have an @if statement in a razor page in a <script> tag
Indented is a <text> tag so it'll accept javascript
Indented in that is my javascript . . . that it keeps trying to "fix"
Swear to christ this autoformat is more infuriating than helpful.1
