I just mistyped a keyboard shortcut that caused my computer to say «I AM FILO AND EVERYONE LOVES ME» at full volume.
I have no memory of leaving a script attached to some random shortcut, and I can't find the setting anywhere.

Long story shot,
I was the coder of a time machine and a bug took me 10 minute to the past. 10 minutes later I got to the same bug and got teleported again. This continued a while. I woke up later.

The company FIDO here, has the worst web application. But this here is just hilarious! XD

Having to buy a 5.25" floppy in the HS bookstore for typing class on the TRaSh-80s and finding a way to put a break in the program and save it to disk so I got top score on assignments?

Tron. That's what really did it for me. To this day, I like to imagine there is a vast world inside the computer.

After a BASIC programming class in HS, I got an Apple IIGS and started writing my own load menus for these little games I'd find around FIDO and newsgroups. Instead of "PR#6, brun gumball" a nice styled menu would show where you could press the number of the game you wanted to play.

I bought a book on Apple assembler and promptly got disillusioned with full blown programming (in 1988), instead sticking to BASIC and, later, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and Python.

OpenSSH 8.2 is out. This release removes support for the ssh-rsa key algorithm. The better alternatives include:

1. RSA SHA-2 signature algorithms rsa-sha2-256/512. These algorithms have the advantage of using the same key type as "ssh-rsa" but use the safe SHA-2 hash algorithms (now used by default if the client and server support them).

2. The ssh-ed25519 signature algorithm.

3. ECDSA algorithms: ecdsa-sha2-nistp256/384/521.

In this release, support for FIDO/U2F hardware tokens. Also noteworthy, a future release of OpenSSH will enable UpdateHostKeys by default to allow the client to automatically migrate to better algorithms.

What's a good password manager for Linux?

A few (optional) conditions (in order of preference):
1. It's free
2. It supports ssh, gpg, etc.
3. It has a GUI (a nice one with gtk/qt support)
4. It's (properly) secure
5. It has FIDO U2FA support (i.e. supports physical security keys like Yubikey or Solo)
6. It has a browser extension
7. It's compatible/non-conflicting with gnome-keyring

I was about to print a bigass document. Wanted to save paper, and saw my printer had a two side mode. I try it out. A few pages print, then the driver says PAUSED - RELOAD PAPER. This is normal, as double sided printing is not automatic. Underneath, there is a message:

[Printing - Manual Duplex: Please reinsert pap...]

I try to resize the window to read the message.

THE MOTHERFUCKING WINDOW WAS NOT RESIZEABLE!!!

are these products not fucking tested???

I find a guide saying the paper should be reinserted with no flips, then the "continue" button should be pressed.

The button was not in the driver UI, or on the printer. Further research showed that you are supposed to:

You know I can't seem to think of any reason why they'd try to make one class serve me for reportedly some horrible reason, and then punish me for not letting them aside from a single phrase that one would expect to hear while having a choke chain loosened which is 'good boy, good fido' because pushing the awful things they do off on me seems to be the objective while making my life harder if I don't do what I honestly do want to do, which is that pretty latina across the way, seems like them training one group by trying to encourage another to lend the illusion of a working system. heh. meaning they'll try to blame me if they give her something she shouldn't have by dangling her in front of me like a toy mouse, and there sense of humor seems apparent when the next time through they drop some ugly old homeless guy in front of me and have her laugh as she walks off after being rejected. trains her and attempts to discourage me from a higher path.

Why are USB passkeys so expensive? I was under the impression that you 1) create a key pair, upload the public key to your google account and 2) store the private key on an old USB drive. But nooo, then you could copy the key I guess. Good luck convincing the average Joe to spend more than $10 on a fido/yubi/whatever key...
