Has anyone experienced being able to run a build of an electron app that runs successfully, then run the same app that was zipped/tar'ed and then extracted and no longer works? Currently facing a "module not found" error after the application was archived and then extracted. The code im working on is open source and has plenty of documentation if you would like to take a peek!

Boss: so let's get AWS in to ask their advise on the new architecture, but let's not bother involving the systems architect who actually knows what is going on.

You guys are cool and all but it's a little strange being in a community centred around releasing negativity when ideally you need good vibes..15

What do you call time spent by a new dev learning a company's codebase?
Genuinely asking because, as a non-native English speaker who has to communicate with English speakers on a regular basis, I usually end up saying that a dev is still studying the code or familiarizing himself with it.
I'm not sure why it kinda feels off for me. Is there a specific term that describes this?
Sort of how technical debt tells me that it's the cost for someone being lazy with his work before.10 -
Indentation is for pussies amiright?
What is worse?
lack of indentation
lack of spaces in the compiled language
lack of blocks

My least successful project was:
social network for student exchange. I did it for the student organization that after launch decided that they really don't need that and shut it down.
Idea was for students to subscribe to internships of their interest (for example 'developer internship') and then they get notifications when someone from the network publish internship within subscribed interests.4 -
Anyone else suffering from CWE-126? (Buffer Over-read)
I'm struggling to find the right solution for fixing my issues with string operations.
Here's the Codacy report for those who want to see: https://app.codacy.com/manual/...
I'm creating more issues than fixing it. God damn it, C.3
