Sometimes I get so excited about doing something that I'm genuinely happy. But when the initial high fades and I'm ten layers of complex code problems deep I always remember how useless I really am
Oh but this time it's gonna be different.
yeah right4 -
The AMD song, to the tune of Sam Riegel's DnD Beyond jingle:
You got the perfect casing
Its drive bays and supplies
But you need something to run your stuff
Cause you're late for that deadline
You click open a web page
You've heard about Phoronix test suite
And now you see a red company rise
In a field of blue and green
It's AMD! (AMD)
Yeah! AMD Radeon!
Yeah! AMD! (AMD)
Yeah! AMD Radeon!
You've got your motherboard
You've got your processors
And you've got Socket AM4!
It's AMD (AMD)

We're doing a concert with our choir representing Sweden that'll be broadcast on radio across all of Europe in 2.5h. If your local radio's broadcasting it, it's at 16.00 UTC. Search for EBU Christmas concert :)
Just felt like telling y'all!6 -
When I was wading through some ancient scripts of my company forefathers, I found the empty shells of long forgotten codes, forever trapped in the bowels of this system.
Sometimes they are called, but nothing ever happens. pretty spooky3 -
Fucking awesome. The 'encryption backdoor law' in Australia went through!
Now, whenever served with such warrants, companies which are active in Australia will have to pay hefty fines if they don't give encrypted messages to law enforcement in readable form. No matter whether this means just decrypting it with the keys they have or pushing backdoors/inject code into the messaging apps/services in order to extract the contents.
Now let's see how much the big companies really care about their users! (I'd expect them to pull out of Australia but the chance that this'll happen is as tiny as about nothing)34 -

tldr i met some girl about 3-4 months ago. she lives next to my country which is 2h of car travel to meet. everything was fine. we chat on snapchat. we talked (voice call) on snapchat about 6 days ago since now and she was normal, i made her laugh and she felt happy. all of a sudden since we ended that call the next day she didnt text me at all. i asked her questions and constructed long sentences and she replied with just 1 word. i realized something was horribly wrong. i asked her whats wrong, she said "everything". just 1 word reply at a time. i asked can you be more specific etc. she just kept writing nonsense with 1 word per chat. she wrote 3 words yesterday and i asked her over 10 questions how can i help her and to tell me whats wrong. now i finally made her answer the voice call and her voice was extremely different. she was crying and sobbing for the whole call, i kept asking her whats wrong and she kept replying "nothing" while crying. what??? i asked her: does something hurt you, did someone hurt you, did someone make you mad, did your sister make u mad (tried to be a little funny to cheer her up), etc and so many more questions and she replied to all of them "no". she does not want to tell me whats wrong and now she no longer wants to answer my text or call or sms. i said i care for you so please tell me whats wrong, im listening. she kept repeating "nothing". she told me "im alone" and she has been laying on the bed alone whole day. that's over 10 hours of laying on the bed doing nothing in the middle of the day. thats not normal. im worried she might be suicidal for whatever happened 5 days ago. i have no clue what the fuck is happening. i think she might even be kidnapped in a basement or something. can someone tell me what to do??14 -
Ya boi got a new vehicle. Its an SUV(cuz i got kids) a nissan murano 2017, maaaan this one is a good vehicle.
When I leave the truck on and I take the keys with me it makes this little beeping sound. And because I am weird I like to say: "ah, sentry mode"
I spent 10 years driving a Honda Civic. Not gon a lie, it was a really good car and it never gave me any issues. But it was starting to show its wear and tear and I didn't trust it for a long trip sort of deal.
Is this dev related? Fuck no, I was just fixing to be random and te y'all I got a new vehicle.

Hey guys.
Arduino + Bluetooth + L293D + car Chacis and 4 DC motors.
Finaly finished my second bot/Drone.
Actually finished it yesterday but had lots of problems with hardware bugs (learned so fucking much in a day).
Tought I fucked two unos with bad soldering... No they are fine, just won't turn on in the circuit that was already working (was fine running the code).
Redone everything from scratch with a arduino uno, it's perfect now.
Funniest part is how I got my hands on a 50€ car kit for almost free... So some Chinese store sended this kit instead of some cheap stuff. Saved another arduino with the chip rack (that one that you can trade the atmega chip), I'll save it to program single chips. Plus a h bridge and lot lot more cool stuff.
Used only the Chacis.
Next: esp8266 and camera... And maby a gun? Would be cool32 -
Well, i have a few stories i would like to share with you :)
My neighbour asked me to fix her webcam.
I told her: But I am a programmer, not a repair service .
Next time my neighbour forgot her Skype password. Se asked me to hack it for her.
I told her: But I am a programmer, not a hacker.
My sister asked me to help her out in her program, because of some bug. Well, she is in the other part of the Country. But, i said, lets give it a try.
Well, it turned out to be some kind of mechanical remote scanner, with needed that exact same remote locally.
I told her: But I am a programmer, not a fictional remote signal scanner repairer.
My grandpa asked me, to copy his old gmail emails into his new laptop.
Well, i told him to log in. He logged in. Than i told him: It is done :D
Thanks for reading it :)4
