Since memes have become an integral part of our community, I propose a way to handle them without affecting the actual Ranters.

Everyone adding a meme or a gag picture can do so under a particular tag, and the Algo can handle your meme needs by exposing you to that particular tag based on your activity with such posts.

Or you could just make the users search for memes if they wanted to see them.

This could also be done vice versa by ranters using a RANT tag, I would keep my RANT filter on so anything without that tag won't show up

To make it better you can provide a sort of suggested tags option :

@dfox, whenever I use the comment box, it covers the whole screen. So, if I wanna tag somebody in my comment, I gotta close the comment box once, memorize their username since there's no autocomplete on @'s and then type back.

Either the comment box could be shortened, or autocomplete be added to user tag function, which could atleast detect the users commenting on the current thread (since programmers suck at memorising).

I am sick of people discriminating against programming we are the ones that create the software for the parademocs and we are the ones that make the games, so this has to stop.

The DEVRANT SEARCH could be improved.
Often wrong results are on top, because the algo accepts 1 different character and tags have no priority.

Example: I clicked on the tag "hangover".
Among the top results there were rants with "handover" and "hannover" (German city).
The first rant with the tag "hangover" was at position 18

Wouldnt the search result be better with another logic?
Priority 1: Tags with exactly the same word

Trying to setup a fucking google tag manager to get the fucking google analytics working.

Few years ago it was a 10 minutes work. Now I'm already at 4 hours. Fucking sick

Ehi, Tag manager, I just set up a Tag called "YourMother" related with its trigger called "Fuck" using same extra variable called "anal"

Building with Unity3D a VR app for Oculus Gear & Oculus Go

While testing the app, it must have a certain tag in the AndroidManifest and it just works flawlessly

As you upload it to the stores, that tag has to be removed because reasons (?)

Can't you just remove it by yourself, you fucking Samsung?

My last workplace would fit to that tag quite well.

CTO who was also in charge of firing / laying off people is a code nazi that forced everyone to use some absurd code styling.

@dfox. I think it's gonna be greate to have a possibility to ban some tags. So posts with that tag will not show.

Tried to deploy a release ... pasted the git tag after copying it from a Jenkins build. We’ve done this a thousand times, BAU....

The deployment process tries to `git ls-remote 'git@git-repo.com:org/repo.git' '5.1.0*'` and complains it can’t find the tag in the remote.

Three hours later, 20 grey hairs the richer, I copy the build log into Slack to get some validation from others that I’m not crazy.
