so after several hours of irritated detective work, I've finally found out what is the thing that periodically, every about 10-15 seconds, starts two PowerShell processes which run for about a second or two and during that time take about 20% of my CPU capacity...

They're being launched from a commandline, to do GetPackages with name of OmenLightStudio, and the result is then piped into find.exe to find InstallLocation part.

...for whatever reason.
and this is done every 10 seconds by... *drumroll*
HP SYSTEM OPTIMIZER.

Received a new HP Probook 640 G2 laptop for work, everyone else has theirs as 64bit machines. Yet the idiots who handle hardware and software installs installed windows for a 32bit machine. Well at least I get waste half a day and do nothing while they redo everything and then I have to still get shit done later.

My dad saw an HP computer with wireless printer on HSN (Home Shopping Network). I was on the point of ordering it. I looked at their privacy notice wh. pretty much says we're going to know wh. porn you watch, with whom and when. Then we're going to sell the info. to everybody who might use it against you. Fuck that. Then I googled reviews of this outfit. Then it finally hit me: you don't order computers from home shopping networks. I'm glad it occurred to me before taking the plunge. So my fucking I know everything.... I can do all shity boss rushes me to do OS install on a hp 250 g8 which seems to be problematic coz you cant see the drive.....research says load the F6 driver but that seems to be not working
whiles i was removing and reinserting the driver i accidentally connected the belt that connects to the driver the wrong way..... plug in the pc and smoke came out....
And it a brand new fucking PC and i almost shiteded myself
Luckily the belt was not completely burnt off
it can still read the driver

i am 24 and i feel like i am making some very bad choices with money.
my last few regretful stuff:

- i bought a phone when i found my current one (less than 6 months old) to be slightly less peformant. what's worse is that i don't even like that phone i purchased a lower end phone just coz i felt like experiencing a new phone brand!

- i bought an earpods when i lost my old one. whats worse is that they are lost somewhere at home, and i might find them once i life some beds and other heavy stuff ( although i searched significantly)

- i bought a freaking macbook some months ago. i guess that's not a majorly had investment but its being rarely used as i can't play any games in it(feel like it's a good thing though) and i have to sometimes vsit my old hp laptop to run some softwares as m1 sometimes sucks

- i got into an argument with my dad and recently slammed their phone on floor, then bought them a new one . i regret my angry self that day

- i got myself a personal trainer at gym for additional fees even though i am a beginner. our gym has 4 trainers and they provide basic directions for free of cost , i did not needed that guy.

- i recently bought a few track suits which , although i don't regret buying, i felt that i could get them at cheaper price at my local markets.

plus there are many other stuff that if i look into my amazon or flipkart history , i will regret more.

Whilst others have success with getting new RAM, plugging it in and it just working, for me, that didn't happen..

I reckon it could easily take me a whole year just to figure out if the new RAM I got, even works in my motherboard ! ( Since I can't find a single reference online to anyone having ever used this particular RAM on my particular motherboard ! )
