Recently I've been working on a side project and I've been working on it a lot over the last week, with lots of late nights.

My girlfriend said to me the other day, "do you not wanna give it a rest for a bit, you'll be starting your new job soon, you'll get fed up of it".

I then explained to her that, programming is on of those few careers where you'll continue to do programme and do side projects, even after a full day of it, and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

I can't wait to start work.. but then I also don't wanna lose out on project time 🙁

Got myself a job, yay!!

This has annoyed me.

I sent my CV off to a company, they came back quite quickly and wanted to give me a phone interview. It had some technical questions, which I did well on and they gave me a test.

I liked the look of the company so I did the test asap, and passed the test.

They then invited me in for interview and all went find and dandy.

They then wanted me to come back in to met the rest of the team, so I thought things were going well.

Buy nope, they've emailed to say I wouldn't be a good fit right now, and have limited feedback. All throughout the process they seemed very keen, now I'm confused af.

I want to develop a mobile app for iOS and Android, however creating native apps is just too much. I've found a solution for cross platform development such as xamarim, cordova, appcelarator.

I'm just curious to what your experiences have been and which would be a good route to go?

Me: why would you need them?
(they were average, but I tell the recruiter)

Recruiter: Oh, so you were pretty lucky to get a good degree.

Me: No... I worked really hard for it.
