Sad. Got a new job. Apparently, readable code is not a priority. My suggestions were being ignored. Does the benefits of condensing an if-else to a simple one-line return statement really that hard to understand? Does making clean and readable code should be an optional thing to consider? It doesn't help that I'm the youngest, they felt like I don't have enough street cred. I'm starting to hate my job.11

That moment when you drop your phone in a sink full of water and have to hope that rice will fix it since you're too poor for a new one right now.1

When you work in a company that has over 5,000 employees, the sluggishness of how things move and people communicate is sometimes unbearable.6

Company not giving my salary on time and waiting for it to arrive. Worrying about paying rent and stuff is not doing good for my focus.1

Can't believe I spent the past 2+ hours looking for; and customizing a color theme for my code editor (... again) when I have a shitload of stuff to do :(4

How to be a Dev:
Step 1: have a great idea
Step 2: start work on great idea
Step 3: read a blog about someone who also has a great idea and finishes it quicker than you prototype it
Step 4: check back daily and see them gloat about how much money, fame and shit they got from said idea
Step 4: rant about it on Dev rant to vent anger9 -

Caller: we contact you to arrange an interview for Java developer position, what time is good with you?
Me: Sorry Sir, I am javascript developer not Java developer!
Caller: You mentioned in your CV that you are using Java and Ayax for building applications!
Me: Trust me Sir, I don't have any relationship with your Ayax...
Caller: No problem, we can discuss this small technical difference in the interview. When you are available for it?
Me: No Sir, I am not available.7
