@ostream We have better in Bavaria

Functionally at-least, a Twitter post searcher in Python...
-
Enough of the command, lets talk about your terminal... That's some dank looking theme you got going there, especially that full width tab bar...
-
Shots fired..!
-
They sent them here, to Germany... Just for reference.
-
Got a short E-Mail saying that they were sending them out after a short delay because of the number of requests they're recieving. But I would imagine that they just come... Awesome app, happy to be part of the community...
-
My boss rants about me all the time, I'm sure of it... Then I garishly wave around a contract in his face and walk to my desk.
-
The next time you put it to sleep, clean your stand and keyboard... 😀
-
I think the 1 rant per 2 hours is a good way of stopping people from creating useless or uncreative posts. At least it makes you think before you post something...
-
@linuxxx I was thinking the same thing...
-
@sovietspy2 Ohhh, guys - we got a professional over here!
-
Really? Had no clue, was on the way back from a code sprint when he told me...

#titanic {

If you have good idea but don't know how or where to start, I always find it helps to have a good plan, mockups and a list of utilities and/or packages that may be useful to that project... Sometimes it's difficult to build something programmatically when you don't have something visual to stimulate any type of structure to what you're doing. Start with something like Balsamiq and progressively build up the task, and when you're ready, focus on one thing at a time, the fundamentals, and get those nailed down...
-
Aye, what's wrong. Better just to post what it is you need help with...
-
@willol You sir, sound like a good coding partner... 😆
-
@willol Point taken, but still. For things like CSS, I think it's great for unifying the syntax, especially when you're working in a team where one guy uses 4 tab and the other 2, or indented selectors or not... Whatever way you look at it, it serves its purpose...

I found this site to be good - http://www.wallpapers-room.com

This legit made me laugh, haha!
-
Can happen, sometimes I'll go over the same code a few times and make some iterations, occasionally even starting it from a clean slate if it gets out of hand. Other times I just sit there and stare at the screen like a vegetated carrot trying to understand something simple. Happens. Get the shit done and move on...

Not quite cloud based, but I use Boostnote - https://boostnote.io
-
@drRoss I don't, he does!

How good is your Indian accent? Try doing some reverse psychology, pick up the phone and pretend you're one of them, when they either continue or ask what you're doing, reply with - "Rajeesh what are you doing! I told you, I'm on vacation!"... Or some random rubbish. FYI, not trying to stereotype anyone...
-
Implementing PayPal payments into a site is about as flexible as a 10ft steel rod. God almighty.
-
How much SASS is there..? You're unlikely to notice any real world performance difference, especially when everything is compiled and minified... The number one rule I follow for any project is optimise when the project is finished, early optimisation leads to unreadable code.
-
Your absolutely right... One simply does not git add --all, one simply does git add -A.

Man, I feel the pain. Had to pair-program with some guy for 4 hours the other day, spent half the time staring out the window. If I code, I'm in my code, I'm in the zone, if you code - Meh, don't give a shit.
