Whenever I babysit my nephew's, they get to watch YouTube. But oh man how fucking shite they are, how they amplify they voices, how they act all frantic and shit, and how they constantly wants you to smash that like button.
Lots of YouTubers have moved to twitch because Google doesn't want that kind of content anymore and I totally get why because it seriously makes me wanna die.8 -
How to fucking unscrew this little shit.
I was able to unscrew the rest just fine. But just when I'm down to the last remaining screw, this lone fucker decides to put on a fecken feight.
I already tried everything. I used a screwdriver that fits perfectly. Rotated it for god knows how long. Attached a strong magnet to amplify the screwdriver's magnetic fuckery. Tried unscrewing upside down to add gravitational force. Tried chopsticking the fuck outta it. Slapped the back of it like I slap rice sacks in supermarkets. Ran physics simulations on a supercomputer. Still won't come off.
(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
It's just there, looking like it's about to come off with a dip of a magnetic screwdriver but IDK WHY IT WON'T COME OFFKZKKXJZJKZ!!1
You wanna put on a fight? Fine. Resist while you still can. Because once you come off, oh ho... I'm gonna do bad things to you fucker. Imma screw you in your hole till your head spins like crazy. (To screw it back ofc.)10 -
There is now a new subfield in web3 called DeSci which is decentralized science of studying memecoins and how to go from rags to riches just like one guy bought a shitcoin for $27 and now he cashed out $8m a few days ago
Web3 is absolute joker clown world dystopian shithole where only the rich get richer by taking the money from poor and middle class.
But if you think about it this is exactly how the whole web2 even works! The whole world works exactly like this and web3 has just helped us amplify the gruesome truth of reality6 -
[Question]
What type of amplifier circuit would I need to power a 60w 8ohm speaker or can you recommend any prebuilt amplifier boards ?
[TLDR;]
I spotted the below stuff while cleaning out my junk cupboard and thought it might be a fun side project to convert them into a portable bluetooth speaker since the earphones are shit anyway and I've always wanted to learn more about amplifiers.
The only question remaining is how to amplify the headphone output signal enough to power the speaker. I plan on either using cells from old laptop batteries or a motorbike battery as a power supply so input voltage would be roughly 10-12v.
The speaker is from a set I salvaged from an old 80's hifi and has excellent sound quality, would mounting the components inside it have a large negative effect on it's sound?
Also although I would prefer to make my own amplifier board as a learning experience the goal is to have a portable speaker with good sound quality... is this something I'm likely to get from my first attempt at an amplifier or should I rather get a ready made board?9 -

Quality vs Opinion
I have a feeling that these things have always been at odds with each other and now with the constant connectedness it has just become more apparent that most people don’t understand the difference (or even realize there is a difference for that matter)
Let’s face it. Most people have awful taste. They listen to whatever new music their radio station decides was hot. They watch whatever show everyone else is watching. They are manipulated by large scale news organizations...
Basically, most people are sheep.
The problem is that sheep are a dangerous combination of loud and stupid. Giving these loud stupid sheep a platform to amplify their voice is a bad idea for a society, but a great tool for the pigs to manipulate them.
“Frightened though they were, some of the animals might possibly have protested, but at this moment the sheep set up their usual bleating of "Four legs good, two legs bad," which went on for several minutes and put an end to the discussion.”
This isn’t confined to one political party or view, it isn’t geographic, it isn’t based on education, it isn’t based on wether a person is ethical or not...
It’s universal.
You can translate “four legs good, two legs bad” into Agent Orange and his followers chanting “lock her up” just as well as it could be translated into the angry leaders of the modern feminist movement.
In both cases (both on opposite ends of the ethical spectrum) you have the loudest dumb, angry sheep getting the even dumber sheep to chant along, wether it is good for them or not.
Now to loop this back. The problem is that dumb sheep are emotional. They truly believe that they are NOT dumb and that their opinions and emotions are a measure of quality.
I FEEL bad, and you are talking to me, so you must BE bad.
I don’t LIKE this amazingly well made movie, so it must BE bad.
And anyone else who has a different opinion is just wrong. Anyone who try’s to explain the merits of the other side is either my enemy or is stupid.
^^^
Their opinion, incorrect.
————
Now for the tough part...
Most likely, based on probability, you are a sheep.
Yes, you! The smartest person you know. The guy/girl who has a degree or masters of a PHD. The person who builds amazing software. You! Are. A. Sheep. And you are dangerous to the world.
To put a cherry on top.
No, you opinions are not important. Your feelings are fucking meaningless. Your morals are worthless. Your voice has as much value and a loose asshole fart from a fat guy trapped in a deep well in Siberia.
But don’t get down about this. It’s doesn’t make you any less of a person. Remember that almost every person who has ever lived in history has been a sheep. They have chanted one useless, dangerous, misguided, harmful chant after another through the ages.
————
To those of you who try not to be sheep. Just keep trying to get a little better every day. When someone says...
“We do it this way because we have always done it this way”
... be skeptics. Explore the merits and logic of the situation.
And if you are tired of being led by stupid sheep then save some money, build something cool and start your own business.
Just remember, you will always need the sheep. They will be your employees, your friends, your bosses, your investors etc.
Treat them well, don’t hate them, and if you ever find yourself leading a pack of sheep then try to keep a healthy distance from their chanting while leading them down the right path.
They will thank you for it in the end.

PS. For those of you thinking “this is very judgemental and self centred”
All I can do is to try to speak your language....
Baaaahhhhh, baaahhhhh, bahhhhh
Which translates form sheep to human as...
“Eat a dick. Have a nice day” -
So i just learned aws elastic beanstalk (EBS, ECS, ALB, EC2, Amplify, S3, RDS, SQS)
Essentially i learned how to operate with aws to deploy a full stack web application with custom backend i built, with security and jwt token, certificate manager, ssl/tls to set up https and redirect from http, and react/angular/nextjs on frontend
All with custom CI/CD pipelines docker and other devops shit
But i still feel like im missing on A Lot of stuff regarding aws. I havent worked with Fargate for example and dont know how it works or when to use it, but i heard other devs use it
Can someone list me a number of things i as a dev should know more regarding aws?3 -
Is Amplify of AWS really no backend Development? Anyone of you has an app in production with this? I want to know, for example, when you need to add SMS validations or 3rd part payments or webhooks, are those features supported?2

I'm currently do some freelancing, and the job that I am doing at the moment requires interfacing with a Bluetooth device, but the company wants a Bluetooth repeater, to help extend or amplify the signal.
Is there anything like that out there or a possible Arduino or RPI implementation that I could use? -
Im deploying a nextjs site via amazon aws amplify. Working with amazon is truly hell. But once it works its truly amazing. Jess bozos have outdone himself. I still dont understand what im doing every time im using aws. Its just trial and error every time for me. (note i still cant deploy the site to my domain there is some build error. Hours of fucking with this and still cant resolve it). However i somehow managed to assign an Amazon SSL Certificate to my domain9

The entire AppSync/Amplify SDK for android is a shitfest. The support engineers don't know what the devs are doing, and the devs don't give 2 shits. It shouldn't take 10 fucking hours to configure an existing API and Auth to work with an app and then run into issues with the code that the fucking SDK generates. Fucking buffoons

When i deploy my nextjs app via aws amplify, on some specific pages the @media styles are not working. Why?2
