-Client's virtual assistant replies this October
-Virtual assistant interviews me through chat
-Every time he asks a question, I reply immediately; when I ask for clarifications on the project, he replies the next day.
-This went on for two weeks
-Finally, the assistant scheduled me for a meeting with the boss.
-Same thing happens. He replies the next day when I ask for clarifications because it appears the assistant is incompetent
-Finally both of them told me I am their guy
-I waited for a few more days for the contract. Nothing.
-I told them nicely, if you don't reply within this day, I'll withdraw my proposal.
-They didn't reply and I went to withdraw my proposal
-When they realized that, they kept harassing me through message saying I'm their guy. Please don't withdraw the proposal.
-Didn't reply and stood by my word

Some freakin clients don't know how valuable time is for developers. Fkn idiots.

Doesn't it look like Bixby(New virtual assistant from Samsung) logo got inspired a bit from Clippy(Microsoft office assistant)?

I'm wondering: what would all these virtual assistant (Allo, Siri, Alexa, ...) write if they had a devRant account?

This is the reason I will never be with IT: I recently got hired as an IT assistant at my college. I was in charge of solving issues in an entire building actually. I was so excited to be able to go around to resolve and troubleshoot problems with people's computers. The responsibility and pay were good, but the fact that people had next to no problems, but I had to be in the same room with students during virtual tests and lessons just in case. I had to stand in the same spot for 2.5 hours watching people take a test. Whenever they DID have a problem, they just had to refresh the page! People gotta learn that I don't have to be in the room in order for people to decide basic troubleshooting. Extremely boring and tiring. No challenges and barely any problem-solving. This is why I'm on Devrant and not Fixrant.

I have spent the last 2 days on the phone trying to get support for certain issues...

- CRA

It is universal that all support lines are complete garbage. Shitholes for stupid people to get paycheques.

I have noticed that this task has actually had a negative impact on the emotional state and it upsets me further that I have allowed this.

I am getting a virtual assistant to handle this because frankly, my time is too valuable to be consistently wasted by stupid people delivering no results.
