I got assigned approximately 20 tasks, all are high priority.

Coworker got assigned 2 tasks, (“like fix button sizes and padding”, “localisation “)

He completed.

I got questioned: “are you sure you are a senior developer? Are you doing your work at all? If your coworker can finish low priority tasks in a day , why you as a senior can’t? “

Me :”if you have the ability to see , please tell me how many tasks I have that are in high priority.”

“Exactly, I need you to complete it now , I expect more from you as a senior. “

Me: “why not you tell me which tasks are higher priority? Because can’t be all are urgent. If everything is urgent , nothing is urgent.”

“Stop giving excuses, be a team player.”

Me :” how is it making excuses for asking urgencies of the tasks?”

“Hahaha you called yourself a senior. What a joke”

Me:”likewise, you called yourself a Project manager yet can’t manage. What a joke indeed.”

"PR rejected because you didn't do localisation"
"Wait, is that a requirement?"
"Yes"
"But there is no localisation in any of the 10 repos in this project!"
"Yes"
"So how do I know if I am expected to..."
"You don't, until I reject your PR"

Question: Anyone has any idea about localisation of applications ( Desktop, mobile )? Like how to convert the user interface text elements into local languages... etc..
Any other suggestion for localization events also welcome 😊

I started asking to get draft templates in German language. So at least we'll know what the site will look like what when text is very long and customers are called "Sebastian Wiedenmann" instead of "John Doe".

Remember English is a very concise language and you always get bad CSS surprises when applying translations.

I am student in computer science in 2nd year, and I want to increase my skills. This is why I am searching a team which is on a (or many) free software project. I assume that I will not help "a lot" on the project because of m'y low skills. So, if someone is ready to learn me something, I am okay.

I have bascis on C and C++, JS, and mid-level on JAVA and PHP. I am motivate to help any open source project and to learn something. So, if you want me in your team, and if you are ready to learn me how to code better, please leave a comment.

I've got somewhat of a problem: a client claims that the date format at a website is wrong. I am using Carbon for Date output which extends PHP's DateTime which uses the Linux locales. Can someone here confirm that they have seen a similar but that the date is wrong in Romanian, slowenian and Czech? (The format would be somewhat like wednesday, 17. January 2017).
